If the Bears run the table they still won't make the playoffs. The two NFC wild card teams are gonna have 11 wins. Most likely the Vikings and Seahawks.

It's over.

Only 2 of our remaining games we have a good chance at winning (NYG, Lions). We still have the Cowboys, Chiefs, Vikings and Packers, so it’s safe to say our season is over.

I think Detroit beats us in Detroit, Driskel looks pretty good.

Agreed. My point was though that our remaining schedule pretty much guarantees our season is over. We win 1-3 of our remaining games. We could finish 7-9 at best. Most likely 6-10.

We don’t have Aaron Rodgers, so pretty much.. no.

If you guys didn’t have Aaron Rodgers you wouldn’t have then, and you’d be sitting with a similar or worse record to the Bears right now.

Having an all time great QB covers for so many things that you won’t know what those things are until you don’t have an all time great QB playing for your team anymore.

Aaron Rodgers is the Packers.

Aaron Rodgers is the Packers.

Mostly true but he’s gotten more help this year than any season since 2010. They don’t need him to be great. MANY people are saying he’s not even the best Aaron on Green Bay’s offense anymore.

That’s ridiculous -you take Jones away and I doubt your record changes much.. you take Rodgers away you guys are a lottery team.

It depends who you replaced Rodgers with. If it’s Tim Boyle then yeah we suck pretty bad. If you put a league average QB like Foles on the team and we’re probably 6-4 instead of 8-2.

Green Bay has a good all around team and Aaron Jones is a lot more important to them than you’re presuming.

If Aaron Rodgers blew his knee out in this weeks game you’d be the 1st one to make the ‘our season is over thread..’

You aren’t replacing Aaron Rodgers. Not anytime soon

Well yeah, I’m pretty sure Tim Boyle is god awful, so that’s not too insightful. Most teams would be fucked if their starting QB went down in Week 12

Well no, understanding that Aaron Rodgers going down at any point in the season turns your team into an immediate candidate for a top 5 pick doesn’t require a deep understanding of football. It only requires a set of working eyeballs and a television.

So I guess we agree..?

You think if Rodgers went down for the season today we would get a top 5 pick? I don’t think you thought that through my friend.

The Packers would be as bad as any top 5 pick candidate if it happens..

You replace jones with Montgomery and nothing changes.. you replace Rodgers with Mitch, you're fucked.

Despite your signature about Holmes, I like him, because he gets my favorite player in recent memory on his show: Peanut.

Nope, you’d still have Rodgers so it wouldn’t make any difference. Jones only looks as good as he does because Rodgers keeps defenses honest. You put Jones on the Bears and he averages 3.7 per carry like David.

I was with you until that last comment. Aaron Jones is a much better rb than Montgomery at this point. My guess is you didn’t pay attention to him in past years since you’re not a Packer fan, but we could see this coming.

Jones has never come close to hitting 1000 yards rushing, and may not get there this year either. He has Aaron Rodgers in the backfield with him, he has Aaron Rodgers getting him closer to the red zone, he has Aaron Rodgers keeping defenses from putting 9 guys in the box on most downs, he’s had Rodgers since he’s been a Packer -he isn’t anything special. Aaron Rodgers is special, that’s what you guys don’t seem to get. Which is hilarious. I guess 20 plus years of HoF QB play on your teams has distorted your fan bases ability to understand the game of football.

He doesn’t have 11 td’s and 5 yards per clip if he’s a Bear. That’s crazy talk. Just like Montgomery doesn’t look better with Rodgers is crazy talk.
