Eventually you gotta stay in the pocket to avoid major injuries. Love this dude and hope he keeps it up. Another young QB better than (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

Um, have we ever seen anyone like this before? My eyes have not seen a more talented QB.

Michael Vick. Vick didn't have a running game like this though.

He's like Vick, if, you know, Vick had been a good QB.

Watching he and his team playing is like watching the Jordan Bulls and the 85 Bears play. Or Bo and Big Frank hit. You just can't do anything but stop and watch. They're appointment tv.

Real shame that that's a noon game.

Vick was a much better passer; Jackson is an awesome runner...how long he will stay healthy is the question.

Reminds me of Kaepernick when he was good. We’ll see how long it lasts .

Shoutout to Warren Sharp also for being one of the few before the season to predict passing success for Lamar that we've seen come to fruition so far through 11 games.

Roman will be the highest sought after head coach in quite some time. The only time Kap was good was under him. He got what he could out of Tyrod Taylor, Rex Ryan fired him as OC after the team put up 31 points and now Jackson.

this year will be his first year with a top 10 offense in pts per game.... he does have several top 15 performances.

What matters is the performance of the QB under his watch.

I personally would rather get someone who talked to Sean McVay one time. Or perhaps someone from the Belichick coaching tree.

I’d be willing to take a chance on Roman but I’m more inclined to credit Harbaugh than Roman for Lamar’s success. Roman seems like a good coordinator, I don’t know about head coach.

I know Zeph is being sarcastic but it's still interesting to note that Belichik's "tree" has only produced one playoff win over 18 plus years and tens of coaches.

Harbaugh is severly underrated and that goes for even before Jackson. The Ravens have never struck gold on offense except for maybe Ray Rice. Despite limitations on offense Harbaugh has kept this team competitive over the years while playing the perennially good to great Steeler twice a year. They still have limitations on offense even now - the QB can't be your most dangerous open field weapon, and the WRs over there have always been underwhelming except for the free agent acquisition Boldin. But still they've always been in the mix. He's awesome.

I think a lot of the praise for Harbaugh for being flexible or whatever is also an indictment on the rest of the league, especially when it comes to the many head coaches and coordinators who are complete dumbass ideologues when it comes to adhering to their sacred systems (and I fear Nagy may be an example of this). The only coach I'd ever give a damn about rigidly adhering to his own system is Belichick because he's the only one with a record to warrant that kind of deference. But of course, the thing with Belichick is he simply isn't an ideologue at all, and that's one of the reasons he's had so much success in the first place. Brady's been the QB across about 4 distinct offensive systems at this point in his career, nevermind all the defensive adjustments over the years.

I also think that lost in all the praise for Harbaugh and Roman's system is the fact that Jackson has looked like an extremely smart quarterback so far this year and has improved his passing game a lot independent of the system he's playing in.

Preaching to the choir. Rfdc knows I’ve said he’s the 2nd best coach in the league for years now.

Absolutely exposed today as a passer. We will see the rushing component of his game remains sustainable.
