You have to appease the cheeseheads who got brain-drained out of Wisconsin and the ancient south siders who like the Bears' rival out of spite for them having played at Wrigley Field once. If that game's not on, they're going to strike back by getting on the expressway and driving exactly the speed limit.

I agree with your first thought but not the conclusion/blame list. If Rodgers doesn’t fumble they likely score and the game takes on a different feel. Also on another drive he overthrew a wide open Aaron Jones costing them another TD. Those kinds of plays are what differentiate the top tier teams from the pretenders. They need to beat the Bears and Vikings to show they deserve our angst.

I thought that was last year. If they had Brown I wouldn't say they're done but there are obvious issues at WR and TE for them. Anyway I understand the pessimism but also the competition is just too good this time around. Ravens, Chiefs, 49ers, and Saints are legit candidates to dethrone them.
