Wasn't Texas Tech playing without their top scorer and best all-around player?

no, they were playing without a freshman who is one of their better players. DePaul was missing their back up PG who plays a key role on the squad. Forced Charlie Moore to play 44 minutes and it definitely affected him as he looked gassed at times.

what an amazing win. I can't believe they pulled it out. Texas Tech seemed to control the entire game except for the final minutes of both regulation and OT. DePaul continues to show a ton of heart and fight and refusal to throw in the towel with yet another comeback win. Their offense seemed to struggle against Texas Tech's impressive defense, but DePaul continues to play in your face tough defense of their own which has carried them all season.


If they beat Buffalo on Sunday this team will definitely be ranked and on their way to being a national cinderella story. Walk on Pantilas Xidias will become a national sensation similar to Sister Jean.

Depaul definitely missed Devin Gage. He really is a starting caliber player.

They look like they are on their way to the tournament. Charlie Moore played his worst game of the season and they still won.

First game I watched in full this season. Solid defense and did a great job getting Texas Tech into foul trouble. Overcame a lot of missed 3's and some dumb mistakes. It would be great if they make the tournament, could be a nice 12 seed to blow up a 5 seed.

when depaul throttled the hawks earlier this year, my buddy a big hawkeye fan was like, oh i didn't know we were going to be bad this year. I was like, I think depaul is supposed to be good this year. he was like yeah right.

I really hope they didn't just sneak up on a bunch of teams and Texas Tech discovered that if you stop Moore, you stop this team. Didn't watch the game but seems like Moore shit the bed again.

I watched some of this game. DePaul looked lethargic and somewhat uninterested. Lots of bad jump shots, no concerted attempt to work the ball inside.

you forgot the turnovers. 8 for Moore. Some guy came off the bench and had 4 To's in limited minutes. Lack of shots for our bigs down low. Butz was 5-7 from the field, should be a getting a lot more touches. Moore, Reed and Coleman-Lands all shot like crap and shot a lot.

They were 32-4 last year and 27-9 the year before and won an opening round game in the NCAA tournament each year.

I don't know anything about them, it just seemed like we should have trounced them.. their record this year ain't great and it doesn't look like they played a hard schedule.

and even the games they won vs shit teams were very close. This Buffalo team is nowhere near the same as the last couple years. New coach and all new players.
