Why not? Rodgers did it for 8 years?

Rodgers is smart, Mitch is dumb.. Rodgers has an unbelievable arm.mitch don't.. Rodgers has a great pocket presence..Mitch don't..

Polar opposite really

It's worked for the Bears when Nagy has gotten out of his own way or was forced to because of a hurry up offense.

He's a poor man's Lamar Jackson. Good backup..not a starter.. certainly not a lottery pick pick and you should get castrated for trading up for this shitbag.

Has anyone considered that the Bears skill players aren't smart enough to run this offense either. Earlier this season (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky talked about going to Nagy and telling him what his teammates like to do. Is it possible that the penalties and constantly being in the wrong place is because of Nagy? Literally, every player on offense except Robinson had regressed. Recently, when they were allowed to run things that they like the penalties dropped, better TE play, Montgomery looked better and Anthony Miller looked like a legit 2nd option.

Harbaugh would have this cracker running for 90 yards a game.. with this D.. they'd win the division

Who knew Kansas City had a bunch of MENSA members on their roster?

Maybe Nagy is just a shitty coach.

It certainly looks that way.

This isn't to say Mitch is a great player. He may not even be good--or average for that matter. But if I didn't know better, I'd say Nagy was determined to get the least possible out of Mitch's talents this year. If that was his goal, he succeeded.

There hasn't been any leaks from the Bears locker room, I think that says a lot about Nagy as a leader or how shitty reporters are. He's just not ready to run an offense. Unfortunately he was brought here to do that.

Team (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky here.

He's ok once Nagy stops treating him like a child

At the end of the day all that matters is whether you think its more or less likely that Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky becomes a good QB (these last three weeks he has been one) or Nagy becomes a good coach (I'd argue he never really has). That's all that matters.

This situation is going to boil over. Mitch may look like a dumbass with scared eyes but there is obvious strategy to bus tossing your head coach offensive guru in the media after a game. This is calculated.

Mitch finally took charge of his own career and you have to admire it.

There is a talent issue on offense outside of Robinson and Miller but I'm confident that Nagy's stubbornness is the biggest issue with the offense. I called it earlier this year.

Robinson is an all pro talent playing like a pro bowler and Miller is a less athletically gifted Antonio Brown who plays like Mohammad Sanu. I think its hard to say whether these guys lack talent except for the obvious ones like Leno.

Even his reading of defenses has improved. I have doubts about him ever becoming a great quarterback but I believe that he can be a good quarterback who protects the ball.

Whitehair is the only offensive lineman who we know is good. Montgomery's vision and decision making concerns me but I like how hard he runs.

I just think he stopped trying to pander to Nagy and started playing football. If you cannot see the obvious ability on display here you're crazy, this is better than he's ever looked. Even the "good" run last year he wasn't making these types of plays.

You have to extend Robinson this offseason.

He signed that three year deal with dreams of a fat payday down the road in mind. The Bears really aren't in a position to give it to him.

Essentially that they were overmatched up front and Nagy could have helped them out by moving the pocket. Basically calling the game the way he did the previous 2 weeks.

The Bears are going to have a lot of money coming off the books. Jackson and Robinson are the only guys you have to extend.

It was downright Rodgers-esque except actually even more explicit. He didn't just question gameplanning, he questioned strategy.

And he was given multiple opportunities to walk back his words and he kept hammering Nagy. That and the clearly defiant posture when the two were arguing on the sideline...its clear something has changed.

I would like to lock up Cohen and bring back Kwiatkowski (even with the stone hands)

Listening to Olin describe how stupid the plays Nagy called is insightful and pisses me off even more.

The only time the offense looks effective is when the Nagy-designed play breaks down and Mitch improvises or when Miller/Robinson make an absolutely incredible sideline catch off some rudimentary route. Its obvious now what the problem is, and really what the problem always has been. Nagy has held back this Bears team since Week 1 2018 when he pissed the Packers game down his leg.

Olin sounded pretty dumb making excuses for James Daniels(paraphrasing) "why leave Daniels one on one vs Kenny Clark"

That doesn't seem to be too much to ask from a 2nd round pick.

Kwiatkowski is definitely replacing Trevathan. Replacing Trevathan's leadership will be tough though.
