Regarding Nagy not challenging the Patterson catch...my guess is they didn’t show a replay on the Jumbotron (being at Lambeau), and since whoever Nagy relied on to give him advice on the earlier sideline/oob challenge totally screwed him, he may have been afraid to trust him again. (Though I agree Patterson may have been out by a hair.)

The Bears offense has to constantly overcome his fear and they don't have enough talent to do that. The only time it appeared the Bears had a big play was when (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky created one. That 4th down play on the possession before last said everything that you needed to know about his offense. Every route was short and literally no one except a 3 yard dump off was available even though (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky scrambled. Also the fact that he didn't challenge the catch by Paterson was criminal.

The officials had money on the Packers. That was a bullshit penalty on the punt return that cost the Bears great field position and at least 3 points. The bullshit incomplete pass with Paterson probably cost the Bears a touchdown. Robinson was held on the 4th down play. It should have been a Bears 1st down.

Hicks left everything he had on the field. Mack on the other hand stole another check.

Miller is ready to be a #2 WR talent wise but he still can't be trusted to be in the right place.

Patterson was clearly out of bounds.

Replay showed grass between his feet and the sideline.

Not when he had possession it didn’t. It showed his toe clearly out.

I've been drinking but I am fairly certain that they froze the image after the commercial timeout and it showed him with the ball and grass between his foot and the sideline.

I had forgotten the Packers drafted Rashan Gary. He was linked to the Raiders but his lack of production in college was a huge red flag for me. He did pick up a sack today so maybe he's playing ok...

Not really, but he was (allegedly) drafted for next year. We’ll see.

Nagy's teams are great on short rest and they suck if you give them too much time off. Short rest prevents Nagy from overthinking and extra days between games guarantees Nagy will overthink.

The back of his foot was out. "Seeing green" at the front of his foot doesn't mean dick.

That's an easy play for an NFL receiver. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky should have run because Paterson is a kick returner.

The call on the failed punt was one of the more egregiously terrible calls in a year that has really seen the slide in NFL-officiating quality accelerate to unheard of extents. Cant expect to overcome a ten point swing like that in a competitively matched game on hostile turf. Shame it ended the way it did.

I think the Bears are the last team in the NFL still running slow-developing run plays.

Exactly! There is proof that it works too. Nagy essentially said that he had to go away from it because teams may stop it. That's mindboggling.

The game plan should have been to run the entire first half to see if they could prove they could stop it. 7-3 at the half gave you all the coverage you needed for that type of game plan. Nagy panics the moment he gets down, even by three points.

The back of his foot never came down, in bounds or out. He was on the balls of both feet.

Nagy still should have challenged.

He should have challenged it. The one shot showed a green line between Patterson's shoe and the out of bound. Seeing how the league is so biased for the Packers, it probably would have been ruled out of bounds anyway but so what. That was too important to let go.

It was as perfect a hit as a special teams guy can possibly do and it really did cost them greatly in the game. I guess you have to expect this shit whenever you play Green Bay because the refs clearly are being paid to rule in their favor continually. The other thing that is bullshit about Green Bay is how virtually all of their players whine to the officials on virtually every play. I hate that shit.

Between the officials and just plain bad luck, this was a game that the Bears should have won but didn't. It really didn't matter because they are a play-off team this season. The pathetic offensive tackles cost them. The inability of the running game to balance the offense hurts about as much. Still, despite all of the crap, they outplayed the Packers in their own place.
