Not really. It means all teams get more money to spend which will drive up the market across the board.

Which does kind of help the Bears since it makes contracts inked in the last few years worth less than what they were when they were signed. Fuller and even Whitehair's contracts look like bargains now.

The two priorities for the Bears this off-season have to be rebuilding the offensive line and finding a new head coach.

The Bears and the White Sox have not had a problem spending money. It's how they spend the money that ends up costing them.
