It wasn’t the turf or weather. It’s the 4th straight week he’s done this.

He was running into bodies today quite a bit but yes, three or so times he was in space and made nothing of it.

The Vikings have a really good defense that was stacking the box a decent amount and our O-line cannot run block to save their life.

Bad combo of things. I think the kid will be fine, but he doesn’t have elite speed.

After watching Josh Jacobs run hard all game, I was treated to Montgomery seemingly running in place.

Yup. Loves nothing more than running in place. Give it rob cohen or Davis who actually seem interested in going forward.

Well, look at the upside.. you’ll get to watch Khalil Mack play 2 weeks in a row on the best defense in the NFL..

The most broken tackles stat from Iowa St is starting to become more clear. The dude isn't elusive; he just runs into defenders. But (no surprise) NFL tackling is FAR SUPERIOR to the Big 12

That recent 5 TD game against the Packers has you cranking the volume up a little too much on the trolling bud, you ok?

Yeah but it has to be a different experience watching him play on a real defense.

Not trolling. I’m admitting I was wrong on Montgomery. Keep up.

It's a week to week league, Beni.

Road grader Gabe Jackson won't be back and the starting right guard tore his pec muscle today. Burfict will probably be suspended. He's a turd, but he's also been playing really well and knows the defense. Big loss. Carr went for X-rays (likely as a precaution).

If Carr starts to get hit early, I don't like our chances.

I predict Boyd ends up in a paddy wagon.

Boyd was an enjoyably ornry cuss. He married well it seems. Plus, he's a Kinks fan.

You could be right. Hi on victory will do that.

It’s hard to judge players under Nagy as they seem to underperform under his tutelage. I thought Montgomery would be perfect for the NFC North after seeing his preseason but he’s been really bad

I haven't seen anyone on the board mention it so I'll throw this in. What about the failure of our guys to maintain their traction on the field. HA HA and the other dbs were slipping a lot out there. So were our receivers quite a bit. The field must have had a kind of glaze on it and the Packers probably used different cleats than the Bears. The announcers didn't say anything but it was pretty evident that something was different.

He just is a straight ahead runner who doesn't have cut back ability and with our tackles being so shitty, the defense pinches in and they know where to find Montgomery. He's okay to me Be pretty tough for any back to run behind that line.

After seeing Howard in Philly this year I think there's increasing evidence Nagy simply doesn't know how to use RBs.

There's also increasing evidence that he doesn't know how to use quarterbacks, offensive linemen, and whatever the hell Cordarelle Patterson is.

He's strictly a system coach, a guy who forces players to adjust to his vision rather than adjusting his vision to accommodate the players he's been given. No flexibility, uncompromisingly rigid.

And he may not even be that good of a system coach. At a minimum, he seems unable to identify players who can excel in his system.

On pace for a career-low in yards and TDs. But I'm sure you will find a PFF article to showcase how good he is.

Howard may not even see the field given how well Bon Scott has done in his absence.

He's been injured dumbass. I shouldn't have to point out very basic things like this. Do better or just wait for baseball to start again, because football ain't your thing
