Fultz managed 10 points and 4 assists last night. Ticker tape parade to follow.

The offense isn't structured around Fultz yet. It will be before the end of the year.

Next year at the latest.

Plus he plays for a team that will make the playoffs.

Different sport. This kid has missed 2 years already. Has to get his timing and wind back. He actually has performed well. Once they up his minutes the production will increase. He can get to the rim with ease and he also finishes well.

You should be more concerned about your guy Coby WHite. He stinks. Just as I thought. Ain't shit there for all the early season hype he received. The difference for him is that the 2nd unit was actually structured around him. He ain't shit.

The Atlanta Hawks have lost 23 games this year so far.

15 of them have been by 10 points or more.

Another 30 point night for Trae the other night, kept his team in the game to the wire against Utah. 30 pts, 8assists.

Meanwhile Fultz scored 10 points again last night. That's 2 10 point scoring outbursts in consecutive games. Only outscored 36-10 by his counterpart last night, Lillard.

Word is the parade will start on Orange Avenue and then make it's way into downtown Orlando.

He "kept his team in the game" after going 9 for 28 from the floor.

Count Zach Lowe among the people hip to the matador that is Trae Young.

He also knows (like i and Nardi does) that they have no chance of being good as long as he continues to be the sieve that he is on D.

Quote:
4 Trae Young's defense
Young can be a special offensive player, but Atlanta will go nowhere serious until he buys in on defense.

There is too much of that: Young upright, flat-footed, arms at his side. That stance makes him slow snapping into action away from the ball. He can be late scurrying around screens, and he often just smacks into them. He is a piece of floating tissue everyone else just shoves away.

Atlanta has allowed 117 points per 100 possessions with Young on the floor -- and 103 when he sits, per NBA.com. Lots of factors beyond Young go into those numbers, but his play contributes. He ranks 435th among 438 players in ESPN's defensive real plus-minus after finishing dead last a year ago.

For years, Young has been compared to Stephen Curry. When Curry is a liability on defense, it is only because of his skinny frame. Curry is a fighter. He gets in a stance, spreads his arms and executes Golden State's scheme. He didn't make the Warriors' defense, but he didn't break it, either.

another massive game for Trae. 47 pts on good shooting, 8 boards, 6 assists in Brooklyn. Game came down to the wire, but a few bonehead plays by Cam reddish in the final 2 minutes ended the game. Kobe Bryant and his daughter in the house front row to watch Trae. He's her favorite player.

Almost fouled out half the Nets by himself.

And he was said to be under the weather. Gutsy performance from the all star in waiting.

11-48 from 3. Gave up 122. Nothing will change until something changes.

I think something is going to change Monday when Collins comes back. But, other than that i wouldn't expect big changes till the offseason. GM needs to do a better job. Need competent vets. Can't really expect too much more than this when your 3 highest paid players are Evan Turner, Chandler Parsons and Allen Crabbe.

He had a good/great game last night. When it got close they went right at him though.

They started putting him in screen roll and isos and there was nothing they could do about it.

Can't blame Jabari either as he was on the bench when they made their run.

There's a rumor that the Hawks are gonna try and trade for Steven Adams. Depending on what it costs I think that would be great. He's only 26 and would provide a lot for the Hawks in terms of defense, screen setting, toughness and culture.

Another game. Another blowout. Down 20 by Halftime again. Greek Freak didn't even play.

+- of the three guys touted as difference makers.
Stat of the game
Quote:
The Hawks had three starters finish with a plus/minus of minus-25 or worse - De’Andre Hunter (-36), John Collins (-34) and Trae Young (-25).

Trae injured last night at the end of the first half, didn't play the rest of the game. Rolled his ankle again.

Just putting that out there for any morons who only read boxscores and think Trae played the full game. Granted, his stat line at half time did resemble a full game for Fultz so I could see the confusion for some of the lesser beings who post here.

Only idiots cite stats for guys whose teams are constantly blown out.

The Hawks have the worst point differential of any team in the NBA.

Close, but no cigar for the Hawks on Wednesday night.

ATLANTA - Round two between the Atlanta Hawks and the Milwaukee Bucks took place on Wednesday night.

The Hawks fought until the end, but their losing streak extends to seven games after a 111-102 loss.

Hours before the Atlanta took the floor against the Bucks, Jabari Parker, who was drafted by No. 2 overall by Milwaukee, said he wouldn't mind returning to the franchise that he started his career with.

For the first time all season, Fultz managed to outscore Trae on a single night of action. Hats off to Mr. Fultz who managed to out point Trae 2-0 on Saturday night on impressive 1-10 shooting from the field. It was still good enough to top Trae who failed to score against the Bulls while sitting at home resting his ankle.

As for the Hawks, they better hope Trae is back soon....
