perfect timing as #wearegood occurs just as the calendar flips to a new decade. It will make it nice and clean when determining the team of the decade.

Five year window to do something. They'll be selling everyone off around 25-26 if these guys pan out.

Anderson and Eloy are already on board long term. Robert is in negotiations for the same. Moncada has openly stated he wants to be here long term.

The pitching looks deep and poised to be here for a while.

Surely you jest. Pitching can be so fickle..no one really knows.

Giolito looks really good. Keuchel will eat some innings and be good at times during his contract, but it is highly doubtful he is ever Cy Young quality again. But after that it is completely up in the air. Now if the pitching does come together then you really have something going forward, but a lot of question marks

That is very true. The pitching on all teams is up in the air. I remember the Dodgers maybe 6 or 7 years ago who going into the season, it looked like they were 8-9 deep in spring training. By the 2nd week into the season, injuries happened and they were begging for pitchers. You never know and never have enough pitching. It's an old saying but it is true.

What is more likely is that Robert is the Player of the 2020's.

They can easily have a run similar to the Brewers in the last decade. 4-5 years of being in the top quarter of the league, a couple of playoff series wins, and if things break the right way who knows.

They are unlikely to approach the Astros' success of this decade.

I'm willing to bang a drum between pitches if need be.

Go Sox

I decided to go to spring training at Camelback again this year. Went last year and had a great time. This time my two boys are also going along with a golf buddy whose brother lives in Sedona and can hook us up at a couple nice golf courses. Really look forward to it. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Spring Training is awesome.

I went to Sarasota in 1972 when Dick Allen came aboard.

Went back in '94 for the Jordan era. In '94 I saw every team as after 3 1/2 weeks in FLA I flew to AZ and saw the rest of the teams.

I really liked the practice days at BoSox in Ft Myers a few years ago. No charge for the practice days before the games start. Even parking was free and you can really get up close to things. Like just a few feet away as players are just hanging out between stuff talking to newsies and agents and Peter Gammons if he is still alive.

Start being better than the Twins and then we will see if they are poised to compete for the division.

I loved watching Dick Allen hit. Really swung a heavy bat.
