Don't worry, Frank. Your bandwagon team is still in the playoff hunt.

RAIDERS!

Gruden couldn't smooth a silk sheet if he had a hot date with a dame...

I lost my train of thought.

Not after the Ravens announced they are sitting everyone that matters this week.

Shame such an amazing fan base is stuck with this organization.

Unless they find a HOF QB bagging groceries they’re fucked.

Duck Hodges is capable of throwing 4 picks against 2nd stringers

I love that dude. Vindicated my choice to pick the Jets defense and win my fantasy league.

At least this is a solid song to have stuck in my head whenever I see this thread title.

Disappointing season but a few coaching changes and signings will change things.

Buffalo has made the playoffs two of the last three years. Matthew Stafford has played in three playoff games. How many years in a row did Joe Flacco make the playoffs with the Ravens? How many years in a row did Cam Newton make the playoffs with the Panthers? Is Andy Dalton a HOF QB? A little further back, but Mark Sanchez played in back to back AFC Title games.

I get your point, but its not unprecedented to make the playoffs in back to back years or two out of three years with a non-HOF quarterback.

I was saying you shouldn't expect it without the quarterback.

I feel your pain, but of the 32 teams in the league, more than half are in a much worse overall state than us, and also have long suffering fan bases. Its east to jump ship and become a bandwagon fan of better teams, but then what fun would that be?

Stats do not really describe how bad the offense of this team is. The only relatively even average part of this team is the wide receivers and they are not "good" either. Way too many drops. Very little over-all speed. But the WORST part of this team is the offensive line. I haven't seen all of the teams in the league play, but it would be hard for me to believe there is a worse one in all of football. Other than Whitehair, they all suck. nd 2nd worst in all of football is the TE position. It sickens me to see all of these good teams with big strong ass kicking TEs who can also run routes and get open. Ours SUCK.

So, I am not optimistic a bit. Pace is a terrible GM for allowing this mess on offense to result in this crap. IF they do not make a major change to get management turned around, its going to be tough to even bother to watch anymore.

The fun is in being a bandwagon fan of a team that's significantly worse.

RAIDERS! FOR ONE MORE WEEK TILL THEY MOVE TO A TERRIBLE CITY!

From the 90’s Bills to the Pats these past few years (and now KC to some degree) I’ve done this without ever giving up on the Bears as my #1. Still, it is always better for the team you truly have a spot for to be the team. The 90’s Bills teams were the closest I came to pushing the Bears aside for as my #1 and I still couldn’t do it.

But yes, I typically find a team come playoff time to cheer for. I should add that my other favorite team is whoever is playing the Packers on any given week.. but that’s a different story

Agreed. Big difference between cheering for certain teams when your team is eliminated and giving up on your team completely.

That is how I look at things also. This year my team is the Saints with the Chiefs being my second choice. My mom's family all lived in Kansas City and I love that town. As for the Saints, I was a big Drew Brees fan when he was at Purdue and always liked him in the NFL.

They almost have to bring in a veteran QB to compete for the starting job next year. A bad start next year likely costs Pace or Nagy his job and they cannot be dumb enough to tie their careers to a guy that has shown he cannot read NFL defenses. Really cannot get an accurate read on Nagy because while everyone sees the QB missing open guys you don't see if he is changing to the wrong play or if guys are running the wrong routes. They cannot continue to lie and tell the fans that the guys they paid at LT and RT are good, because they journeyman guys off the scrap heap outplayed the starters when given the opportunity. Leno looks like several other of the offensive lineman, out of shape, slow off the ball, sets high on pass pro, and cannot move his feet in the run game.

If they give (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky another shot next year, our season will be over before it even starts.
