Jameis with a pick 6 in OT to lose the last game of the season and become the first 30/30 guy in history. Clutch performance by an all time great

He's such a mystery. Way better than (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky though.

He’s honestly one of my favorite players in a long time. I hope he goes for 40/40 next year.

His last great year was his freshman season at FSU. Jimbo Fisher then wrecked him. And then the entire program.

Winston was staring down his receiver before the snap on his record setting pick six.

Tampa had a top 10 defense. 1st against the rush, 12th vs pass. 6th overall (prior to today's game).
Jameis coughing up pick 6's and favorable field position led to Tampa overall giving up 30th most points per game. Only the Jets awarded opponents better avg starting field position.

Gruden is going to end up with this shithead next year. He may throw for 50 tds and or he may murder multiple whores, we are just going to have to watch to find out.

Winston is not any kind of upgrade over the current starting QB.

I don't think people appreciate just how important it is to winning games not to turn the ball over.

I agree with this shoutout. I had Falcons -1 and Over 47. It looked like I'd get no better than a loss and a push as it sat at 44 in OT with the Bucs having the ball. Then the world changed.

Yep...and turning the ball over is a problem Mitch and Winston have.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has 29 interceptions for his career and I don't think 1 was a pick 6. Winston just threw 30 picks in 1 season and 6 or 7 were pick 6's. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky protecting the ball keeps the Bears in some games. We all lived through the Cutler 5 picks era when the game was over midway through the first quarter.

Someone is going to think he can fix him. You don't throw for 5,000 yards in a season if you are an irremediably bad QB.

They're just yards. It's possible that he can learn to not throw 30 interceptions in an era when 10 isn't considered good but he likely is what he is.

You do in the "2019 NFL". Seriously, passing yards are a nothing stat.

If Mitch threw for 5000 yards people would step over their own grandmother to suck his dick.

The Bears are only in games because the defense keeps it that way.

Tampa’s defense was just as good. The bears defense would not be keeping them in games if Jameis was their QB. They would have probably finished worse than 8-8.

This is just flat out wrong. It's dead wrong. TB was the fourth worst defense this year - the only teams worse than TB were Miami, Carolina, and NYG. They gave up 28 ppg. What are you talking about?

It’s not wrong. This is where you should watch football games instead of judging defenses by points allowed. Scroll up and read Hussra’s post for added context.

It is amusing however that you want Jameis as the Bears QB but don’t even seem to understand the basics of what goes with having a QB who threw 30 interceptions in one season.

FF is funny.

But in his defense, didn't Winston throw like 10 pick 6's.

Jameis is almost entirely responsible for TB’s points allowed not being in the top half of the league.

But some folks don’t like context and just like easy to read numbers like ppg allowed.
