2021 is technically the start of the new decade but I get that it doesn’t apply with how we view decades.

Some people, and they are very bad people, think that the decade starts after the end of the "0" year and starts at beginning of the "1" year. But these people are very bad, some of the worst.

Do you respect math? Which decade do you want to fuck over by shortchanging it to 9 years? I sure hope it isn't Jesus' first decade. And if you have no problem with fucking over the first decade of our Lord and Savior, JUST FOR CONVENIENCE, then I'm at a loss for words.

IF AD is Anno Domini, or Year of Our Lord, then He gets the whole "year zero" as His, so the next nine years can eat a bag. 20 is not in the teens, 30 is not in theTwenties, etc. Since the guy who came up with the whole BC/AD calendar didn't provide proof of his math prior to declaring his way was the new way, he may have been off by a year or twenty. Or, he might have been sending the dimensions of Playmate of the Month, who cares?
