It's ironic you would post this while implying that being better than Baez is statue worthy

The statue has already been built, it's Tim Anderson playing defense.

generous. in reality it's all 9 positions with the sox. 9 pinstriped traffic cones with baseball gloves taped to them.

I am very much looking forward to "we have better defensive players!" taking the place of attendance championship bragging.

Funny because they were one of the worst defensive teams in baseball last year, and only got worse adding another terrible glove(Mazara) for a slight bump at the plate. Ah but let's let them have their fantasies of "rebuilding the right way".

The upcoming 84 win campaign on the northside has Cubs fans in a tizzy!

They were bad defensively, ranking 25th out of 30 teams. Then again it could have been worse...they could have ranked 29th like the Cubs.

Caller Bob; You are gonna use batting average to discuss hitting? Really?

Others; Ok, what metric do you want to use?

You do realize errors are a terrible metric to judge defense? If a player has such poor range he can't even get to a ball(that most fielders could) it's not even charged as an error. Now back to your boogers and crayons, Frankie.

No, both sides doesn't apply here. There is only one right answer.

FavreFan has been struggling a ton since giving up booze. His posts have been god awful

Your comments are funny now but will get more amusing as time to goes on.

Strange hill to die on.

Cub fans will always die on the hill of flash over substance. MVP MVP MVP. Meanwhile he isn't a top 50 hitter.

It really is. You're the worst meatball on this site. You're like listening to a 6 year old talk about his favorite team.

I hope you have good use of a fainting couch. I know reading a message board post a few sentences long exhausts you.

I’ve never denied it. I just found the exhausting label funny and it reminded me of Julie.

Meatball fans > non-meatball fans. It’s part of the fun of sports.

But this isn’t a meatball argument. If you compare their age 24 seasons it’s clear who the better player was. Maybe I don’t value defense enough but Moncada was clearly a FAR SUPERIOR offensive player last year. He’s 3 years younger. He’s seemingly getting better. Baez is seemingly not.

It stands to reason Moncada would be the better player next year.

Well... the way you boot lick your teams players though. It remins me of an 11 year old. Do you have these guys posters on your wall?

You’d be hard pressed to find a Sox fan poster here who’s been more critical of the team recently so try again.

I’ve explained my reasoning behind thinking Yoan is better. This a dumb thread for you to try this nonsense.
