I’m telling you, I would never come out of a game voluntarily.

You'd just hit pause then go downstairs for dinner.

Uh, you know one of these things is a brain injury and the other is a leg muscle injury?
Have a bad hammy at age 55 and you have to use a cart when you golf. Have a bad brain at 55 and you are shitting your pants.

He's volunteered to play a game that will leave most players with a permanent disability before they turn 40. There are guys playing injured in order to win a championship. When you miss the last 2 playoff runs and you owe it to your teammates to be out there. Especially when you are the face of the team and have a $100M+ contract.

Do you believe in CTE?

If I’m a coach there is no way I’m sending my franchise QB back out onto the field if he is having trouble pronouncing words.

Yes. Every NFL player knows the risks. Wentz understands the risks.

Yes that’s my point.

Wentz knows the risks of staying in the game with a brain injury.

Being aware of the risk, and accentuating the risk are two different things.

You probably understand the risks of diving your car on a freeway. That said, you likely wouldn’t drive a car on a freeway if the car had no brakes and four bald tires.

He reportedly couldn’t remember plays or even put together a complete sentence following the hit. This is a dumb thread.

Even if Carson himself did not self-report ,once he got to the Huddle I called a play of " three hamburger" and a snap count of ten thousand, don't you think would have his teammates would have called out the trainers and said "hey look this dude isn't right"
