Just rub it in.

Nothing to rub in. Every team missed on these guys. The Bears aren’t special. It’s a futile exercise

So as long as we're all on the same page it's interesting to note that one of the picks given up in the (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky trad was used on Kamara. Again we all know draft analysis doesn't work like this.

We’ve always agreed on this, I just continue to disagree with your “shrug emoji” it’s all a crapshoot philosophy. Like most things the truth lies in the middle.

I was joking.

Although I bet that call/text is made.

I really wanted Henry though.

He’s really good but also seems to be in a great situation and this seems like “his time”. I definitely would decline paying him as much as he will command this offseason

The existence of busts proves that drafts are more chance than skill, which is not the same thing as saying no skill is required.

But you have repeatedly said skill isn’t involved in drafts and we have continually argued about that.

It's always bad business to pay RBs, but if you're going to do it, I'd feel comfortable paying him.

I'd have to reread all that stuff. If I recall correctly I advocated that your personal chance to skill ratio needed to be revised in favor of more chance. Seemed you didn't allow that chance determined the so called success of a team's drafts as much as skill did.

That’s wrong. You’ve always portrayed it as a crapshoot while I’ve always maintained certain GMs are better than others at drafting. At that point you mention a skilled GM who drafted a bust and the conversation dies out iirc.

Interesting. I wouldn’t at this point.

Check out my 2020 draft thread in the nfl section and hook me up with some knowledge.

If they win the Super Bowl they must pay him. It would be criminal not to.

Right now its a dicey proposition, dont know what I'd do. There are good arguments for and against.

At this point there is zero doubt TN is giving him Zeke money. If it’s smart or not is another debate.

Hey suck my dick WWN. 95% of America had the Ravens destroying the Titans. I knew the Titans were going to give the Ravens some trouble

Hell I even think the Jackson >>>>> Vick crowd needs to be checked today. People forget Vick destroyed a Brett Favre Packers team in the playoffs.

Okay... Cowherd is a dumbass because most of those GMs never made the playoffs anyway, so clearly he doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. Idk what's with this rush to write Jackson's obituary after his sophomore year. Legends like Manning and other big name QBs also lost multiple playoff games before getting their first. Manning went 0-3 before winning one. Narratives questioning Jackson's ability to win big games are fair. Narratives about all this other stuff are weird as hell at best.

I'm not even sure what happened, he made a few bad throws but the offense as a whole looked over matched. The defense looked over matched. Maybe the bye week messed em up.

Possibly the bye. Or Titans on a roll. They really were pretty bad compared to how good they were all season. Sometimes no explanation.

They did move the ball, just stalled out in the red zone. Couple bad turnovers too.

Harbaugh's aggressiveness - which resulted in reg season success - backfired yesterday. They went for it on fourth and one in their own territory down 0-7 and failed. The next play was a bomb from Tannehill that put the Ravens down 0-14. Then in the third quarter down 6-14 and trying to mount a comeback, they failed on fourth and inches in FG range. They then went down 6-21 during the next series. The most optimal thing possible happened for the Titans after these failed fourth down conversions. They capitalized. And obviously for the Ravens these two failed conversions resulted in disasters.

It’s not a big deal. He’s a mvp qb this year and had a shitty day. Making Limbaugh jokes is just jokes. When a qb gets shit because he didn’t play as expected it means he’s arrived. Look at the shit Brady gets second half of this year.

People seem to take glee in the fact that he lost. See Cowherd's take posted in this thread.
