I'm not saying the Packers won yesterday because of the refs. Seattle couldn't get off the field on 3rd down and dug themselves too big of an early hole to get themselves out of. That had basically nothing to do with the refs.

To ignore the benefit of calls that the Packers get week in and week out is ignorant. To do so means you're in denial, incredibly stupid, or a bit of both. Last night's late spot just proved again that if there if a questionable call, it tilts the Packers way more often than not.

Watching live I thought he had the first down, if he didn't..Graham was less than a foot short. Rodgers would have converted 4th and inches.

I thought he had the first down as well, but the refs spotted the ball a yard and a half further down the field. Doing so basically made any replay review useless as they weren't going to move the ball back that far if at all.

The Zebras will always help the Packers. Always.

Wrong. They fucked the Packers out of an obvious fumble recovery in Seattle territory on the 2nd drive of the game. Proud of the Packers for overcoming Seattle and the refs last night.

You repeating this over and over does not make it fact.

Quote:
Replay officials determined that Hollister did indeed fumble. But they didn’t find clear video evidence that Green Bay recovered the ball, and the ruling on the field stood.

Since replay review requires a different standard, and officials didn’t see the actual recovery happen in the scrum, watching a Packers player come up uncontested with the ball wasn’t good enough in this case.
Boom, roasted.

So it wasn't "obvious" FF. The way the rules are written, the correct decision was made in having the original call on the field stand. It's kind of a shit rule, but the refs got it correct the way things are currently written.

Of course if this had been the other way around, the Packers would have kept the ball as well.

It was obvious. But you can't shit on the refs and then use the refs as your excuse for why a call went the way it did. The refs think they made the right call on the Graham first down as well. Pick a lane amigo.

Same with me. The receiver was on top of the defender for a while, so it was either just barely short or a first down.

Seattle was going to lose that game anyway imo, surprised they climbed back in it as is/was.

And I still think Aaron Rodgers (or any great QB) in the playoffs>>>Rodgers in the regular season. The 9ers are in for a much much different game than the regular season game.

If the Packers win, it will be because they have a great QB and San Fran has a mediocre one that they do all they can to hide.. and you can’t hide in the playoffs. Not against Rodgers. Going to be a really interesting game to watch.

Frustrating to know as a Bears fan we had a chance to grab either Watson or Mahomes and join that elite club, and Pace fucked it right up.

FF continuing to keep his head in the sand. Very sad.

As bad as the refs have been overall this season, I'm going with Al Riveron's explanation over a Packer fan message boarder.

I said early last week that the Seahawks don't have the personnel to manipulate the GB weaknesses. The 49ers are the exact opposite. The 49ers will run it down their throat. I don't see where the Packers have an advantage on either side of the ball.

It's going to be a tough game. We'll need an extended cameo from 2010 Rodgers at some point if we are gonna have any chance.

Yup. Vintage Rodgers and/or the Packers being +3 in the turnover battle is the only way I can see them winning this game.

Rodgers is still great, the rest of the offense not so much.

With that offense though, how can you not be prepared for less than like ten touchdowns per game?

And I said after their regular season meeting -going to be a much different game if they meet in the playoffs.

I’ll point out the advantage the Packers have on offense, and in the game overall -it’s at QB.

If the Packers can jump on San Fran early and force a battle between Jimmy G and Rodgers, the Packers will win. I’m of the opinion that the Packers have to let Aaron take over tho, I feel like they’ve been making Rodgers stay in their lanes all season. They have to let him take this one over, if they do they have a legit shot at winning.

I’m not predicting a winner btw, that’s not my thing.. but if the Packers let Rodgers loose and force San Fran to pass their way out of it I can’t see San Fran winning. This game could go either way, but San Fran won’t steam roll the Packers this time around. I’d be shocked if they did.
