Fixed.

I don't even think Nas could make excuses for his/her piss poor performance to date.

Well NAS and a few others said they were encouraged by a few posts Porridge made in the Dallas game thread. No word on the 200+ something other posts

My bad. I will try to be more like JeffGeorgeWorshipPodcast.

Good day.

The worst thing about (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is his lack of confidence. He sucks at press conferences, and it has nothing to do with speaking abilities. He seems confused, scared, in over his head. His pat answer to any post game question is “ We’ll have to look at the film.”

No confidence, no swagger, seems dumb. Not sure what Pace saw at that dinner with him.

I'd rather have Minishew, he's got much better vision and pocket presence..I don't think you can coach that.

I don't agree with your list but how do you leave the team off that will get Burrow?

Where do you disagree?

Well Tampa Bay doesn't have a quarterback currently, so my disagreement would start there

Arguably that might mean they're better positioned than Chicago. Chicago's off-season project is trying to help (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky grow a brain. TB can go with Winston or start fresh.

My quote - which you distorted - will age well. Bookmark this post. Your stealth (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky support will only bring you unhappiness.

I didn't distort your quote. Tampa Bay's only starting QB currently is Ryan Griffin. You seem to be under the impression that makes their situation better than the Bears and Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. I agree it will be funny to see how this ages.

I said arguably having no QB is better than the Bears' situation since a QB-less team can start fresh rather than deal with a replacement-level bust. This prediction will age well.

Mitch isn’t preventing the Bears from starting fresh at QB. Mack is.

Pace is because he's fallen in love with his failed pick. That's the single biggest sin you can commit as a GM - sticking with a sunk cost because you've invested so much into it.

There’s no way you can know that. Pace doesn’t have the resources to replace Mitch this year even if he wanted to - because of the Mack trade.

Your football posts are becoming as bad as your hoops posts. NOTHING is preventing the bears from starting fresh at QB.. we could draft 2 this draft, we could clear room and go after a vet( Teddy ) is the only guy I'd want.

Why do you say that? He lost one total pick this year and moved up around in the process.

If there's some obvious QB with top 5 potential you do anything for that. Unfortanetly there aint. At least that we know now.

You could do that, but would be completely fucking the rest of the 52 other guys on the roster.

Don’t criticize my football posts when you’re suggesting building a roster like a 10 year old playing Madden.

Because you don’t have a first round pick this year and have $25 less million in cap space to work with because of the Mack trade. If you had $25 million more in cap space plus your first round pick you could address QB and OL this offseason. Now you can’t. You can address one adequately or both poorly.

Your football posts have become shit, If Pace wasn't a complete moron he'd have been drafting a QB every other year since he got here until he found a star.. Could have had Minishew last year in the SIXTH!

If I'm Pace, I'm drafting Hurts in the second and grabbing an UDFA this May..open comp @ camp.

Read that post again and what it was in response to. It was in response to 312 saying the Bears should draft 2 QBs this year.

Mack is only a problem if you want to spend 30M on Brady or Brees. That's not happening. Mack is not preventing Pace from pursuing Bridgewater, Winston, Tannehill, etc., even though we know those guys aren't coming. Nothing preventing him from drafting a QB either in whatever round. This whole Mack stuff is a such a transparently false narrative that I can only assume is due to jealousy from GB fans.

I never said they should draft 2, I said they COULD.. I'd draft one( Hurts) and grab an undrafted FA.. either way your post was wrong, Mack isn't stopping the Bears from starting fresh.

They have two second round picks. That can address two positions. Aren't you also the one that bragged that the Packers found 3 guys for cheap in free agency instead of Mack?

Spend the Mack money right now. Who are they getting with $20 million extra in FA money assuming they are paying a first round pick from last year.

This management would proceed in the same way at QB even if they had unlimited money to blow. Mitch is their QB. On some level, I agree with their philosophy. You spent the highest of picks on him. You have to have definitive proof he can't play before moving on.

That's the same logic that causes an investor to lose his entire life savings instead of taking a 10% hit on a deal and cutting losses.
