Titans played healthy Mahomes about as well as anyone. Couldn't get off the field on 3rd down a few crucial times. Too much Mahomes magic. Mahomes looked like early career Russell Wilson or when Longhorn Vince Young ended the NFC West Trojans 3 season win streak for the national title.

Ya'll realize there was no consensus no 1 pick, right? In fact from what I saw when looking into it last week I'd say (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky vs Watson was a tossup while Mahomes was third. Some even had Kizer sandwiched b/w (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and Watson.

Yeah, but that kinda tells you how the league gets caught up in group think. Reid is a great coach, but I doubt that he took Mahomes from bum to HoFer. Sometimes you have to trust your own evaluation. That's why the Chiefs and Texans were trying to trade up to draft him.

Yeah it is amazing the revisionist history at times.

It sucks that Pace did not draft Mahomes, but it was far from a sure thing in that draft and a lot of people had Tribisky as the 1 QB. A lot of people thought Mahomes was a big project that may never be very good.

Could just be Mahomes being a mensch but I recall Mahomes crediting Alex Smith with coaching him up on being an NFL QB. Maybe it's Mike Glennon's fault (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky's still scuffling to pick up the position at a consistent NFL level.

Did any of these guys speak to (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky? Cause I have a feeling it takes a 5 minute conversation to realize you're speaking to a moron.
