Bringing up his young marriage and sexual assault allegation is classless. You don't give a eulogy of a man by bringing up the absolute worst things that he was involved in just to please Julies

Bringing up his young marriage is silly. Everybody has family issues, some are just bigger than others.

I don't think you can just gloss over the Colorado situation. The 'victim' refused to press charges, which of course MANY of the SJW's are not mentioning. ESPN talked about this issue, and had it on the scroll across the bottom of the screen. It was bad judgement on his part, and probably a bit on her part too. It shouldn't be ignored, but it shouldn't be a focal point either.

I am only hearing a very small percentage of the overall story being Colorado. What you going to do? Same as Kane it happened and it will forever be connected to you right or wrong.

Kane was never charged with anything. Kobe was yet weren't pressed, and there was a settlement. IT's kinda different.

Also, over the course of the following 17 years, Kobe did MANY things to redeem himself as a person. I think it speaks to what type of person he is coming back from his achilles injury when he did in his career. He easily could have hung it up and still been a shoe in for the HOF.

He was a Detroit Pistons team and a game 7 against the Celtics from having 7 rings. It's unlikely anyone will ever reach that many NBA Finals ever again playing for the same team.

LeBron has played in more Finals than Kobe did, dumbfuck.

You never gloss over the things that you didn't like about a person's life when you eulogize them or speak at their funeral, you just focus on the good. Even if the list is small. Not only did they talk about it but they asked Ric Bucher about it after he shared stories about the nice things that Kobe did for his kids.

I loved Kobe. More later than when he was younger. I later figured out though he was the only type of guard I liked as much as MJ.

His funeral was today? M&H were asked to give the eulogy?

Right, but this isn't the eulogy, Nas. This is Chicago talk radio. Over the course of a four hour show, it deserves a segment.

Whoever gives his actual eulogy at the funeral is not going to mention any specifics about the rape/assault allegations.

He took kids up in a helicopter he owned when the sheriff's police grounded their helicopters.

Strap it in because Bernsie started just now saying this is a difficult day to talk about all the messy things.

Now is not the time to bring it up.

I heard them bring it up and thought it was cringe-worthy.

I, too, am done with the Score for today.

Did Bernsie just say Kobe was aping MJ? What the fuck is wrong with many of the people at this station and how does Mitch just stand there and do jack shit about it? Being the platform is just as bad as being the voice. I would also love to know how his other station in Milwaukee has been nothing but respectful, thoughtful and sincere on their shows and on their personal twitter accounts. The Score is awful. How does anyone still listen to this trash?

Did you guys see all the Twitter journalists trolling Kobe's personal life right after it was announced he died? Do you need anymore proof that journalists are scumbags?

Yes, we need more proof. Please go and find all of the proof. Don't come back until all of the proof is found.

I think it's just the way our society is. We celebrate the pain and death of others. It brings us joy for some odd reason. Saying nothing at times is okay.
