Thought I remembered a " Is Rose Back" thread... Can't find it.. but he indeed is.

Career high 12 straight games with 20 plus.. good to see.

I never knew Ben Simmons could be dominant defensively.

He may be the best defensive player in the league right now.

He is definitely the best that i have seen this season. He is outstanding defensively.

Thought Brown was going to blow this one. Philly has to play better away from home.

Hope so.. love seeing a home grown kid Excel.. at his best he was as good as I've ever seen. Hate to see him waste this on a shit ball piston team that wins 30 games..if he becomes a Laker, I'll root for them to get that ring. . Like to see him on Milwaukee or Clippers tho and win it.

There are terrible thoughts and then there are terrible thoughts.

This ain't trolling either. Tired of that rather tired narrative. These are this guy's actual thoughts. Stupid as they may be. Sure Fraternization Frank will be along shortly to post about a subject (i.e. provide requisite cover) that he doesn't care about again. I will be sure to have the left flank covered when he does.

They are carving Philly's defense up. Butler is killing them

I'm starting to wonder if Brown is going to last the season.

The pieces in Philly do not look like they quite fit.

Horford/Embiid isn't clicking and Philly looked slow.
I'm still rolling and unlike the bandwagon/fairweather Timberwolves fans i'm not going to turn states.

There is time to right the ship but ithad better start happening and fast.

Inefficient team. A lot of that needs to fall on the coach. They need to make the change at all star break.
They're too good to be playing so unfocused.

didn't Trae light him up last week or did I imagine that?

Trae Young shouldn't be his matchup. Butler took it to him last night though. That should be his matchup.

Trae lights up Philly every time he plays them. Atlanta now has a 4-2 record vs Philly since Trae joined the franchise. Also helps that ATL coach was Philly assistant right before getting ATL job.

Last year Trae hit a game winner in traffic over Butler and Embiid in one of the games.

All that said, he is barely ever guarded by Simmons. Last week he lit up defensive wiz rookie Mattise Thybule. Simmons guarded him late and actually did a better job than most who try.

Watched the Mavs at Pacers last night. Doncic out yet again with an ankle injury. Mavs still handled them easily. Perhaps you get Doncic and Porzingas really playing together they could make some noise.

so far they have not played well together. Porzingus has pretty much only stood out when Luka has been out.

Yes, maybe Porzingis is asserting himself here a bit and it will carry over.
