25-1 is essentially saying they are an 8-8 team.

They still put us the 11th favorite to win the SB. 21 teams worse than us. Which is a little surprising.

They know something. Bears fans are down on the team so it isn't that we're suckers.

No it's not. This is a top ten defense and a bottom five offense. Adds up to around 8-8.

They have a slightly easier schedule this year, and probably won't be going to London or playing on Thanksgiving for the 3rd straight year.

9-7. Still not good enough to do anything more than beat the trash fire NFC East team in the playoffs, before getting their clocks cleaned in the Divisional round. And that only happens if every break goes their way in 2020.

sign a couple of tackles and a decent running back. Run a 1982 playbook. 10-6.

I don't like this Frank. If the other Frank isn't back in 5 1/2 months, I'm going to be pissed.

10-6 is possible, but 10-6 EASY?

Which 10 wins here are EASY?
Vikings x 2, Packers x 2, Lions x 2, Saints, Rams, Bucs, Titans, Texans, Giants, Panthers, Colts, Jags, Falcons.

Maybe 6 or 7, maybe 8 look relatively easy.

I'd say that is about right odds wise. It all depends on the draft and free agency. If they don't fix their offense, they will probably win maybe 6-7 games. IF they do(which in itself are long odds against), then they can go 10-6 or even better.

Vikings have one more year.

Pack will slide big time.

I think the Vikings win the division next year.

The other Frank has been beaten down over the years with bad and mediocre football that it would take a miracle (I.E. the Bears playing in February) to resuscitate him.

The Bears are still my team and I'll root for them every chance I get, but I will never again expect better than 7-9/8-8/9-7 until they prove it.

Have you had the pleasure of observing the head coach? Line 2 of "run the ball" will not happen.

Yeah, kinda sucks but just like everything was pointing to regression for last year's Bears, same with GB this year. Gonna need a killer draft class this year to help stave it off

I think they have to commit to just being a one dimensional team while they still have Rogers. Give him everything he needs even if it means forsaking the D (which Rogers never will).

I agree with the variable being Detroit. Stafford is playing some of his best ball right now. He was amazing last year in his first 8 games. He had the Lions at 3-3-1 (with the 3 losses coming to VERY good teams: Packers, Vikings, and Chiefs). They could have easily been 5-1-1 with the losses to KC and GB being by 4 points or less. Then Stafford went down and they were horrible. If Stafford can stay healthy next year and they can have a good draft, they could finish top 2 in the division.
