For the most part, yeah. Jones was gone. It's hardly even a Clash record. Still "Straight to Hell" may be the best song in their entire catalog. If that was the only song on the album it would be good enough.

Bad thought.

I am a big cash money/juvi fan generally. Not sure about that song tho even tho it was probably his/that group's greatest hit. Idk if bling bling surpassed it however.

You can't really say Jones was gone. "Should I Stay or Should I Go" is Jones. It's still not that bad of an album. These guys suffer from putting out two of the greatest albums of all time. (And "Give em Enough Rope," which is one of my favorite albums.)

Good to know I was right with 'American Pie.' This was the one time in CFMB history where one's opinion was more or less accepted as fact.

Good work, everyone!

Another reason I sometimes confuse Hatchet and 312. One hates the Clash and one hates the Ramones.

WTF is wrong with you two?!

Rhetorical question)

In all fairness, that was a pretty good take.

If Pi Theory was more popular, maybe they'd give McLean a run for his money.

Growing up listening to both, I still listen to them.

And American Pie sucks ass.

any mid-late 80s 'hit' pop songs from movies - which after being overplayed on the radio, got overplayed during commercials. 'kokomo', 'the time of my life' and 'danger zone' come to mind. couldn't avoid hearing that stuff for a 5 year period.
