Not a big deal, but why the heck is Chet Coppock reading the New York Post? He made a reference to it this morning on Chicago's Gameday on ESPN Radio 1000 and twice tonight on the CLTV Sport Page Sunday Night Roundtable - all three total references on three separate topics.

For the record, I think Chet is a lame radio host these days, but I am enjoying watching both Chet and Les Grobbstein on Sports Page tonight.

On a completely separate and perhaps, the most ridiculous item of the night, Chet predicts that Mike North will be joining Ed Farmer in the White Sox radio booth next year. For some reason, I think I would find myself tuning into those broadcasts, as a non-North fan and as a Cubs fan.

martin: I'd love to see North join Farmer, simply because it would prove Mariotti wrong about North getting fired because he crossed Reinsdorf...as for Chet and Les, they're good cause they're professionals...but been there done that with Chet. Les is salvagable though...

I don't doubt that prediction. Stone goes to TV with Hawk and Darrin gets dumped. North will be a disaster as a color analyst, he doesn't know anything about the sport, but he sure thinks he does.
