I agree with this

So many rumors and talks about all the potential QBs heading here.... Prescott, Dalton, Carr, Flacco, etc.... will be interesting to see if anyone actually signs.

They don't have the cap space to splurge on a QB with the holes the have on the offensive line. They need someone to take Chase Daniel money for a year.

Well Derek Carr definitely will not be signing for Chase Daniel money.

Any QB the Bears bring in that has anything left worth playing will be coming for the last chance in the league amount.

Is $8M not enough for a backup with a chance to compete for a job? (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is making $9M so you can't pay anyone more than him unless you're going to name that guy the starter.

On second thought, I don’t think Derek Carr would like living in Chicago after living and playing in Cali his whole life.

Scratch that thought.

There are a few OT's on the FA list. Bears need to sign at least one of them.

Maybe, I wouldn't be surprised to see a guy like Daulton take less to play in the playoffs and a chance to start.

Our pass rush will be back next season, QBs will be pressured quickly.

Kinda like Sherman with SF this year.

Yup. Dalton or Mariota are the most likely candidates to sign here, if we do bring in another QB. Guys like Carr, Brady, Rivers, Foles, Winston, etc. are over-priced and will want more than a 1 year contract (which I think Dalton or Mariota would take).

I wouldn't take on any existing QB contract. Let their current team cut them and then negotiate.

The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with tight end Demetrius Harris on a one-year deal, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources informed of the situation.

Much like his move to Cleveland to reunite with former Chiefs general manager John Dorsey, Harris is again packing his bags to team up with a familiar face. This time, it's Bears coach Matt Nagy, who spent time with Harris in Kansas City before he left to take the Bears job.

Kinda wondering exactly what kind of role this guy can fit into. He is listed at 6-7, 230.

Nice work sticking to this thread! 8)

If the Browns didn't even want this guy, there has to be a reason.

I wouldn't get too worked up about this boys. TE is going to be like K last year in camp. Bring in 20 guys and see if someone works while we see if we can entice a pro bowl level player

They’ll draft a TE with one of the 2nd round picks.

Signing the proven Austin Hooper would be MUCH better.

They will probably trade one of their 6th round picks to move up like five spots and take a TE from Truman State or some shit school like that.

TE seem to fail at such I high rate.

I look at the current FA group and it is littered with guys who were highly regarded four years ago. I remember guys like Clive Warford from the U and Nick Vannett from OSU
