Pace getting fired would be more appropriate, but I guess if Nagy coaches in any way like he did in 2019....Pace would have a scapegoat....even though he's the one that overdrafted the average at best QB and Trestman Pt. 2. It would be very Bears to buy it.

There has been worse. Giants fired Shurmur with 3 years left on his. Anything is possible.

if they have a terrible season (5 or less wins), he'll be gone... if they hover around .500 again... 2021 will be the last chance season. if they make playoffs, he and pace will probably get more extensions.

If we don't make the playoffs and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is bad, I would say there is no chance Nagy is back. Pace would have a better chance of staying than Nagy would.
