Did I hear this right? Hawks wouldn't allow Mac to interview Hull because he didn't go through the proper channels? Not sure what is more pathetic, the fact that the Hawks would stop anyone from talking about their bottom dwelling team, or that talking to a retired player is only Hawks content deemed relevant.

The proper channel would be to no work for The Score. After the wild statements, accusations, prosecutions, trials and convictions Jules and Bernstein have provided in regards to Hawks players the last decade there is no reason for them to have anything to do with the score. Mitch wins awards so this behavior is encouraged regardless of it alienating the most successful franchise in the city in the last 25 years. "Hey Connor, Whats the difference between a Gordie Hat Trick and Hull Hat Trick? You don't get 5 minutes for punching your wife"

Exactly . I actually enjoy the fact they’re giving the Score a big fuck you now. Although it might have been interesting if the interview did go down and then July would have been prompted to say something like “my colleagues seem to be OK with spousal abuse” and seen what kind of response that would’ve gotten from Mac . ( though he seems to be in full idgaf mode now and never has addressed any of July’s horseshit. )
