I've watched most of the game. Pitchers looked good except for Herrera. Robert hit a 3-0 pitch for a triple and made a couple of good plays in the outfield and Jimenez got a couple of hits along with a nice catch in left center.

Where in the hell would they put the guy? It'd be one thing if they hadn't signed Encarnacion. I guess that they could platoon him in right field but why? This team doesn't need the potential headaches that Puig would bring. I think that their team is set except for starting pitching which no team has enough of. I'd still like to see a legit ace to head up their rotation. Think Boston would be interested in trading Sale back to the Sox? For Madrigal and Vaughn? They are in a cost cutting and rebuilding mode now and if Sale is healthy, I'd love him back with the Sox unless he burned too many bridges while in Chicago.

It shapes up to be a fun ride watching Robert and Jimenez grow into becoming major league baseball stars. Along with Moncada and Anderson at 3rd and short. Think about it and where the White Sox were two years ago. It is truly mind blowing to me. With the oldest of the four at 26 years old, it boggles my mind to think that somehow the Sox have corralled four of the best young players in all of baseball.

If Moncada continues to perform like he did last year, 5 years at 70 is going to be an insane bargain. Of all of these extensions, I think he's the safest. Hahn is eventually going to miss on at least one of these extensions, but that doesn't mean they weren't worth the gamble.

What would he have been projected to make if he bet on himself the next few years?

The only one that might, could be Luis Robert. A lot of hype around this kid as well as an injury history. I don't believe that will happen, but it could. My guess is, when they hand Giolito his contract, that will be the boom or bust one.
