I'm not sure they're "reads," either. They're recorded that way. You have to admit though that it gives them a "custom" feel. I tend to tune out professionally-done reads, for the same reason I tune out ads. Which is why Danny Mac works his Allen Brothers BBQ stories into his stories... Somehow or another, our psyches will be attacked

Although it was a "live read", Dan Hampton has been a Chevy pitchman for years, long before he guest hosted Laurence's show this morning on "The SCORE". Speaking of Chevy, I absolutely dig the Ozzie Guillen/Lou Piniella spots that have been airing on Chicago TV lately.

Hampton, Thayer, ZZ 2 nights a week? or 2 days a week keeps laurence on the air with Laurence and friends

I wonder if Dan's delay on premiering on WSCR is for lead time needed to record commericals for them to drop in during the show.

I'm a huge fan of Dan's playing days, I enjoy the Pro Football Weekly show on CSN(especially since it keeps Chris Berman off my tv) but I sure do hope Laurence does the reads moving forward.
