Sometimes fans need a real team. Or a real quarterback. Or a real offensive line. or a real football team. or real ownernship. Or a real anything.

I mean I'm a bears fan. I will never root for another team but it's hard to root for this.
Back in the late 90s i swore I wouldnt spend another minute or dollar on the Hawks until the old man died. I did that and ultimately was rewarded.

I didn't have to endure anything with the blackhawks til now. I got so mad at the Bears. I turned it off. They are such fuckers, I haven't paid attention to the in 10 years and I loved them for 20.

This. Sometimes its a lot more fun and entertaining to watch our teams, sometimes we complain a lot more about them, but I will never jump ship. Chicago sports always.

It's like being a business partner with a guy who cheats on his wife. I don't care about the morality of the situation but if you are willing to cheat on your wife you would have no qualms about cheating on me.

I agree with you on this.

I once was a big time Bulls fan and the NBA in general. I stopped when Reinny kept those two bozos in the front office and fired a good coach in Thibs. Not to mention what the league itself was doing with players controlling the teams who were good at the expense of the rest of the league. I haven't watched a complete Bulls game now for about 4 years and a complete game for any other team in a couple of years.

I am getting to the same point with the BEars and its incredibly stupid management. I think that the Bears play the fans for suckers counting on the loyalty of its fan base for going along with their stupid decisions and still going to games and buying the products it markets. Pace is just another failure in a long line of failures at GM and coaching. And the league itself I feel has screwed the game itself with screwing up the games themselves especially the refereeing of the games.

The Chargers are where it's at....nobody did less with more than Anthony Lnn but look what they got.

Franchise QB on a rookie deal
Two stud WR's in Williams and Allen
Two young HOF's(on that path at least) on defense in Bosa and James

They just need to get a stud RB in the draft..(love to see them trade down and get Ettienie and then a Olineman) which they are positioned to do and I think they challenge the Chiefs in that division this year.

The Bears ‘needs’ are similar but include:GM, Coach, Competent Ownership..
