brandin cooks would be a fun addition, he's been traded a lot and has head injury issues. curious as to what he will fetch on trade market. his speed would be a perfect complement to AROB

Interesting piece:

In addition, Jeff Hughes of Da Bears Blog upped the ante and brought a bit more of clarity to the situation in his most recent article, “The Bears have been trying to trade Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky for weeks. Nobody wants him. I don’t see a competition with Foles moving forward because I’m not convinced (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky will stick around.” Now, it’s important to remember that Hughes is very well connected within the Bears organization and has been out in front of many Bears organizational changes (i.e. Mark Helfrich hire/fire, Juan Castillo hire, Robert Quinn signing, etc.)

I'm going to call bullshit on this though.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky will make 4.5 million this year. That is below backup money compared to a guy like Daniel. A team would be happy to have Mitch as their backup especially if the Bears were giving him away.

Nick Foles, with a huge contract, garnered a 4th round pick.

The odd thing is Dix was dumped from GB when McCarthy was still coach. I would have guessed that there was some bad blood.

They have a ton of cap room investing in the D already, they will have to plug in some backup guys and hope they can improve and be competent NFL starters. The battle for the starting CB position opposite Fuller should be an interesting one to watch.

Kwiatkoski is listed as the 15th overall linebacker in the league, per pro football focus. He will man the middle in Vegas and has an incredible opportunity going forward. He will also be teaming up with his former West Virginia campaign mates, Karl Joseph and Daryl Worley.

Whether or not you think we should have kept Kwiatkowski, the move shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering Pace's history. Nothing Pace does anymore surprises me. Just shake your head, roll with it and wait until he's fired.

Hearing chatter about adding Clay Matthews for depth. Could probably sign him at a 1-year deal worth 4.5 million. Anyone like this idea?

Karl Joseph signed a 1 year deal w/ the Browns. Worley is still a free agent, although I would like to see him back on 1-2 year deal.

RAIDERS really strengthened their defense.

Seahawks, Saints, Ravens and maybe GB also linked to him. I'd rather save that money. They've got to do something about the o-line.

Clear sign Bush will be the starting strong safety. They're now filling his ST spot.
