If you have internet access Netflix has seasons 1-4. The now detested Sling carries AMC which is showing Season 5. They gave us episodes 1 and 2 on Sunday and Monday. I believe going forward we get one new episode every Monday at 8. They will then replay it later that night.

You may be able to stream AMC for free on your phone or computer. Or pay a smaller fee then Sling.

In past seasons, I could watch the recent episode on AMC.com on tuesday following the monday airing. Done working nights after tonight, should need some good watching for thursday night-unable-to-get-back-to days hours!!

The Jimmy-Kim scenes look to be a problem this year. No real point. We know she leaves him so there isn't really a happy ending to their relationship.

We know Jimmy becomes Saul and then Gene so I guess there's no point to the entire show.

She either leaves him or she dies...not sure which yet. There's no way they would leave her "intact" at the end of BCS considering she isn't mentioned at all in BB.

Unless she reappears in the Gene era. She's a Royals fan. Could be some of those in Omaha.

She could certainly be dead though. I could see Jimmy tangentially contributing to her death and just become more cold and more Saul as he did after he contributed to Chuck's death.

The story was useful until now. Now it's basically done. I hope it isn't a whole season of her staring blindly as Jimmy becomes a shady lawyer.

"I'm going to practice as Saul Goodman"
"Are you sure that is a good idea?"
"Yes"
"Ok"

have only watched the first 2 eps but so far it's been great.

My favorite part was the very first scene where they had people walking by out of focus and they all had different color shirts on, each color from the color wheel. Great homage by Gilligan to the well known use of colors as symbolism in all the Breaking Bad shows.

And of course, Kim continues to wear blue in every scene.

Also loved all the one shot scenes they are doing. Saul in the courtroom hallway was a fantastic single shot scene.

To me it seems as if she is but one step away from icing herself. Been very conflicted lately.

Thoughts on the season so far? Think we have 4 episodes left. I think it's been ok, but was hoping for more.

I've enjoyed both parts of the story so far. The hookers and Howie scene last night had me laughing my ass off.

Originally I thought that it was just Jimmy and Kim that had basically run out of storyline. Now it seems to be the whole show.

Just like last year, I think we'll be looking at another season where the show was enjoyable enough but nothing really of substance came of it.

The hooker scene was okay, but it was kinda "been there, done that" (Trading Places).

Spoiler

Lalo's arrest was anticlimactic. Was hoping he'd be killed in spectacular fashion.

I've enjoyed the heck out of it.

Mike's descent to get to a place where working for Gus is a good option, Jimmy's continued transformation into pure Saul, and Kim's fall with him.

S'all good.

The last two episodes have been the best of the entire series. Good 'ol BRick keeping alive his streak of being wrong about everything.

This show is starting to jump the shark. The whole Kim/Saul/Mesa Verde storyline of the past 2 eps has been cringeworthy. Just an awful plot that makes absolutely no sense on any level.

Mike setting up Lalo was also very flimsy and lacked any sort of believability.

As for the hooker scene, someone refresh my memory...what did Howard do to Jimmy that was so bad? offer him a good job? From what i remember the issues were between jimmy and his brother. Howard was just kinda caught in the middle. He always seemed like a really nice guy, not nearly as bad as Jimmy always made him out to be.

Another solid episode.

Kim is wife number 3, Saul blows his top at Howard, and Gus blows up his restaurant.

Lots of Breaking Bad tie-ins.

I'm just not feeling it. Spoilers...

Are we supposed to believe Saul can just bring random white people into court and pass them off as Lalo's family? Maybe he knows by the time they verify it's bogus (assuming they check), Lalo would be long gone. They should take the $7m (or would it be $700k, 10%?) when Lalo bolts, and give it to the victim's family.

The whole Kim and Mesa Verde back-and-forth has run its course. Maybe Paige has feelings for Kim...I wouldn't mind seeing that.

The Howard scenes seem overdone as well.

Mike's scenes with his granddaughter are redundant at this point.

I like certain aspects of Gus's scenes (such as the detail of him examining the fryer basket, apparently for cleanliness, during an otherwise urgent situation), but I don't think he would risk being killed in the explosion by having the chicken slide down the sheet pan. I think Gilligan is going too far in some of the setups.

I got the impression he was using the cleaning fryer guy as a rock solid alibi on the night in question, and that it was just fortuitous afterward that he was able to set up the place to explode. After all, he found out about Lalo's plans well after the fryer cleaning incident with the restaurant employee.

I now think that the Cartel is going to whack Kim.

I'm a bit confused by the restaurant scene, why trash it then blow it up? Perhaps the trashing will lead the investigation towards thieves or vandals, but Fring would have allowed that to be done by others, no need to be there himself. I know he does his own stuff in BB when he slits the guy's throat in the lab, but that's his own super-controlled lair, not walking across the street to his own SUV as his building explodes. Better hope there are no other security cameras in the neighborhood.

Gilligan has clearly separated himself from BCS by this season, only coming in to direct one episode, the rest is all up to Gould. They always credit the writers for the show's success, perhaps this path isn't the strongest they could have chosen.

I just caught up on the last 5 eps. I think this is great.

Finally, things are happening. People are interacting and things that we know will happen are starting to come together.

Kim is still a mystery. She's great.

This is by far the best season so far. Not even close in terms of consistency.

That last episode was great. Mike and Saul just wandering through the desert. And Kim putting herself out there with Lalo.

Agree about this season as a whole too.

We are heavy into the drug trade now, not old people bingo which, while was worth a chuckle, didn't quite fit.

This is starting to feel like Breaking Bad now.
