Curious what your takes are regarding the number of deaths of horses on California race tracks? I'm not a huge horse racing fan but one of my sons follows it. My only source of input is from a retired jockey that I play golf with once or twice a week, Corey Nakatani. I used to bet on him when he road Lava Man back some years ago. They, for awhile, were unbeatable at California tracks and earned a shitload of money for 2-3 years. YOu talk about a great athlete, Nakatani certainly is. The little shit can launch a golf ball 300 yards at a rip. He was state champion in wrestling and also an excellent baseball player. Pretty good guy but you can tell he is a guy who no one should mess with.
