You would still have hundreds of players coming into contact with each other.
Who then go home to their families (at the very least), as well as anybody else who worked in the arena/gym/rink, etc.

It's amazing to me the amount of people who still do not understand the basic science/math on this topic.
It's all about exposure, multiplied exponentially.

With the breakthroughs they are making in testing, and getting results within minutes, it would not surprise me if they tested every player before the playoffs started.

The doctors are indicating that Corona virus infections will likely be likely the flu and have occasional outbreaks for the next few years. If they develop a vaccine it will be treated like the flu is now, there are times during flu season that people get very sick but enough people are vaccinated that it doesn't overfill hospital capacity, until there is a vaccine it will be hard to contain.

Trump already predicting that the season will start as planned. Fans back in stands by August.

Seems like another retractable "everything open by Easter" comment.

Yeah. That would seem to be using common sense.

Nothing wrong with that. What is wrong with putting a target date out and mobilize people toward meeting or bettering that date. Its a common sense thing to do. People do need HOPE and a way for them to PLAN themselves.

Again, no government in our country "forced" any sports league to halt operations on this. They chose to. All of them. They're all billionaires.

 no shit. I posted that after the NBA season was already suspended. Next time read the context of what that was replying to.

None of them were drafted by Chicago except Hester. Embarrassing

Also no player on that list regardless of team is a Bears product except again Hester. Can't produce homegrown talent and the guys we do draft don't go on to have great careers elsewhere either.

What does the asterisk denote? I cant figure it out.

I have a problem with a few of these selections but certainly no player drafted by the Bears deserves mention on this list.

* -- denotes a unanimous selection

The selection panel is "The NFL and the Pro Football Hall of Fame have announced the 52 players and two head coaches selected to the 2010s All-Decade Team."

Shocked that Rodgers and Gronk weren't unanimous selections. Gronkowski should be a unanimous selection for GOAT tight end.

Amazing how a bad GM hire like Emery can derail a franchise for years.

Pace will have been fired this time next year, and deservedly so, but he did a pretty fantastic job building a contender out of absolutely nothing. It is fair to say the general manager who takes over from Pace will have a much easier road than Pace had when he got the job.

And at least Nagy is a man. Hiring a burrito as a head football coach was the craziest shit I've ever seen.

He screwed up at coach for sure and in the draft except for Jeffery and maybe a few others. But the core of Cutler, Forte, Marshall, and Jeffery was probably the best offense this city has ever seen. Before everything went to hell we had some legit firepower. Trading Olson and a third for Marshall was a good deal

Mega overrated. The offense line was putrid.

I don't disagree but I emphasized this city. Low bar but historically we've never had a better collection of weapons on the field than that group.

Trading Olsen for a 3rd was dumb.

It was paper thin though. Backup runningbacks were guys like Micheal Bush or Marion Barber, the number two tight end was who? Dante Rosario? Or did Des Clark overlap one of those years with Martellus Bennett? Even worse was the WR depth chart after Jeffery and Marshall. The likes of Eddie Royal and Earl Bennett.

Quantity has a quality all its own. Napoleon said that. He was talking about NFL offenses and the fact that aside from true generational Hall of Fame talents I'd much rather have a breadth of weapons that can cause mismatches. That Bears team didn't really have that.

I think that was a huge boon for the Bears when they made the playoffs in 2018. Chris Simms said he thought the Bears had the best overall wide receiver room that year in the whole league, and while he was probably being hyperbolic to make a point I understand what he meant. It's a pain in the ass to deal with five guys who can all beat you in different ways.

Patterson and Mack earned inclusion through their work with other teams.

Brees should have made it over Rodgers by the numbers.

Mack's best season as a pro was 2018. He was the best football player alive that year.

I think Gonzalez and Gates should be ranked ahead of Gronk in terms of GOAT. Not just for decade team.

His real failures were in the draft. You can find a player or two in free agency, but your core needs to come from the draft.

 You're describing Aaron Donald.

Mack was the DPOY and an All-Pro at 2 positions in 2016 for the RAIDERS.
