Then you havent been watching baseball lately. Game is over right now if Marmol got in the game there.

By "ordinary circumstances", I meant, not in the last couple of weeks.

6 batter hit for the AL in the 10th. Quentin might come up again next inning. He's due up 4th.

Im sure Hurdle is sweating the idea of using Marmol right now. He is running out of pitchers.

Unfortunately for you Cub fans I think you will need to rethink the phrase "ordinary circumstances" when it comes to Marmol.

After the crap the AL got about having 6 closers, its sure paying off for them. The NL can't get anything together but the AL is threatening each inning.

Its pretty well known that it tends to be hard to see both when the glove is hitting the body and the runners leg is touching the bag. General rule is if the throw beats you and the tag is close, you are out. Im not saying, im just saying.

Two probably missed calls, but in all honesty a lot of calls are missed in that manner. If the ball clearly beats you and nothing spectacular happens in the way of avoiding the tag, you're usually called out.

Has there been an All-Star game in any league this exciting and meaningful? I don't mean to be hyperbolic, but I don't think there has been.

Getting back to last inning. That catch by Martin was tough.

No. There hasn't cuz all other all star games mean shit. It didn't start to mean anything for MLB untill 2003.

The game Ozzie managed in 2006 was pretty exciting cuz the AL won it late in a close game. But nothing can beat this game with all of the close plays in extra innings.

Man, Ugla has had the worst all star game ever. He just struck out with one out and the bags loaded. Just needed a sac fly.
