Let's also be real, these guys are meeting at each other's homes all the time. No way they are isolating from each other. This is all just for appearances.

I love the idea of some fifty year old football scout smashing his fists against his laptop because "godDAMN puter doesnt fucking WORK" and this pencil-necked nerd is parked out in the driveway trying to talk him out of smashing it to bits.

Just have the IT guy sit next to him wearing a hazmat suit. Turn the house into the house from ET.

two HOT nuggets:

Raiders trying to trade for Yannick but the Jags are insisting on 1.12 and the Raiders wont go beyond 1.19. If I'm the Raiders I'd just trade down and draft Epenesa later on if that's really what I'm ater.

Also that the Lions are making preparations to pick 1.5, so Miami is presumably moving up for...

Why? The Giants aren't going to take him. Unless they are worried about the Chargers? That's plausible enough. Or are they going to to go OL and try and snag Jordan Love later on?

Lions probably have other suitors for the 3rd pick. Heck, if it's true that the Dolphins don't even have to give up the 5th to snag the 3rd pick from Detroit Belichick might've put in a bid of late 1st round/early 2nd rounders for the 3rd and Tua.

And then if the Lions didn't trade their 3rd and left Tua on the board, Giants could've traded out of the 4th to some other team looking to draft a QB.

Another question I have is if Wills is really this great of a tackle prospect (and I do think he is) then why isn't Detroit just going to take him?

Detroit wants Okudah and they can move down a few spots and still get him. They really aren't doing it right...letting Slay go and then replacing him in the draft. You don't gain much ground that way. The 49ers traded Buckner to get a pick to improve the receiver group. A move like that makes more sense.

Epenesa is a base end like Ferrell and Nassib so they don't have a spot for him. Ngokoue is one of the best young pass rushers in the league. No way they get the #12 but the #19 makes sense if they can get a long term deal worked out. He hasn't been very smart about it but he's outplayed his rookie contract big time so I can see why he'd be frustrated.

Exactly, the point is to get better. Slay was a hell of a player, kind of getting a tad overrated lately but still if Okudah turned out to be Slay that'd be a good-case scenario. And that's the problem, we already know what the Lions are with Darius Slay...they aren't any fucking good!

I dont know, it feels like there are three clear-cut players to fill out to the top three and after that it drops off considerably (unless you want a WR). Detroit trading back to five just robs them of a chance to get a premium player at a premium position.

I am beginning to think the Okudah noise could be a giant headfake by Detroit and they're actually after something else. I'm not ruling out Ceedee Lamb from the top-five, he's that good of a player.

Maybe they like Derrick Brown. He's very confusing for me...his tape doesn't match his combine. This is one of the craziest plays I've ever seen from a man that size...

Gut feeling: GB trades up to get Justin Jefferson. I’d be fine with it.

I hope not.

Gut feeling: Zack Moss is the first or second runningback off the board

 That’s a hot take. Props if you’re right. Think he’s RB5 or 6

I'd almost rather you get Jefferson. Murray is gonna beast.

Conversely Isaiah Simmons gives me a strong bust-vibe. It takes a truly generational athlete who can play positonless defense and I just dont think he's it. His versatility will work against him, jack of all trades master of none type deal.

I disagree about Simmons, my favorite player in the draft.

Remember that 2nd round pick from the RAIDERS that was really more like a 1st?
