I know we have all been looking at ol and wr but there are two first round quality edge rushers still out there.

It would definitely not be need but if either Epensa or gross matos is there, you have to pull the trigger. Never enough pass rushers

There's no way Epenesa falls to 2.43, but if he does they cannot say no.

2.43- Grant Delphit, S, LSU
2.50- KJ Hamler, WR, Penn St.

There are a lot of good options. Lets just hope they don't do something stupid like going for a TE out of SE Dakota A&T

I think I see 7 wr still on the board that would be no doubt Day 1 starters. We will have to see if there is a run but it looks like they can wait until 50 for the pick

If Mims is there at 43 they have to make that pick. The Patriots are there at 36 as a potential trade partner and they like future picks too.

Josh Jones or Epenesa at 2.43 and take the best WR at 2.50. An Epenesa/Shenault draft would be a coup.

The guy out of Dayton is considered a top prospect

The only way I want them going te is if they trade back.

That is who I would want. What would it cost to move up now?

I would be very surprised if Mims made it past Cincinnati, New York, Miami, Cleveland and Houston. All of those teams seemed to have purposefully set themselves up to draft WR in the second round.

He's a very Patriots-y player so you either have to blow them away for 2.37 or move up with New York for 2.36. Probably cost a 2021 fourth rounder or maybe they could do it for 5.163.

Mimms Higgins claypool Pittman and shenault are all guys that fit what you want and you can toss a coin over who will have the best pro career

Mims and Shenault really stand out, but for different reasons. I think Shenault may fall a bit further whereas Mims probably isn't a feasible idea.

No trade ups. Plenty of talent.

My guess is that one of those teams falls in love with hampers speed

Definitely. And I dont think Josh Jones makes it very far either.

Also have to keep in mind other teams that actually have third and fourth round picks are going to be keen to move up ahead of the Bears.

They could probably trade down a little and still get Prince.

CCS is one of the dumber boards you'll ever see. The spiritual successor of the braindead official forum the team used to run.

Shenault's highlights didn't impress me and we've had enough injury prone receivers. I'm in love with Mims and would also be fine with Higgins. If they're gone, trade down.

This is really where the divergence of public/commercial and pro draft boards begin. I assume some of these guys who "fell" according to the public just keep on falling.

ESPN has Mims as the 20th best player available but he's the 3rd best WR available. The entire offseason will be a success if the Bears draft him.

My dream scenario is that they get Epenesa, but my prediciton is:

2.43 Laviska Shenault
Then I think they trade out of 2.50 to pick up a fourth, dropping all the way down the late-second or early-third. That allows them to take a runningback and defensive back in the top hundred or so picks, which are the two big needs I think they feel most compelled to fill. I just dont think they'll be able to say no to drafting an impact talent at wide receiver that they know can make them way more explosive.

I dont expect offensive line until the fifth and I dont expect a quarterback at all. If they were going to go QB they would've traded up to lock in the fifth year option and I dont think Ezra Cleveland or Josh Jones slide to 2.43.

I think Pace ignores offensive line even though some good talent will be there and its the most pressing need...

43. Mims
50. Chinn
