Thanks hub. Now tell me who was calling them for that trade

Apparently nobody

They also didnt think Kmet was noticeably better than anyone they had and thought maybe they shouldn't take a TE.

He grew up in Barrington, probably not.

Lake Barrington. That's more of a fox river town. He's probably tough.

He was a fourth round talent at best. He's like a bad version of Mike Gesicki, and then worse than even that.

The carpet is for Mitch so he doesn't get hurt when he comes over to play with toys.

Look I probably got a little bit of the gift myself; but I thank christ I didn't get the strain that would have me wallpapering the rosters of the Bears division rivals on the basement walls.

Seriously. Its not even weird football coach obsessive compulsiveness.

He did that because he knew it would be on TV and he wanted to project that imagine.

I think he's been barred from trading future assets. I believe this will mark Ryan Pace's first draft since his first draft that he has not traded a future draft asset in.

2016 Leonard Floyd
2017 Mitch
2018 Miller
2019 they actually traded up for Montgomery

and considering the precariousness of his job as GM I dont think he'd pick now to suddenly be covetous of next year's picks.

We are now seeing the difficulty of trading mid round picks. There are starters to be found in 3-4

I know you are down on them Antarctica but this defense is elite and got better today. There are 5 or more good veteran safeties out there and they will get
One.

Find me a defensive position that is a weakness. I think you are wrong about trvathan

I’m just done trading up. I’m happy to trade for a player like Mack but enough of trading up

Don't stop there. You're also a huge proponent of that killer Mitch deal.

I dont like Trevathan at all. Dont think he'll even really play.
Quinn at this age is going to represent a downgrade from Floyd.
Hicks may be finished physically.
Mack is in some stage of decline from his heights of 2018.
Goldman and Nichols aren't durable.
There's something up with Roquan Smith.

Fuller and Jackson dont worry me really at all. Roy Robertson Harris is elite. Roquan will probably be fine. Mack's still near the top at his position.

All tolled its probably a twelve-ish ranked defense. Jaylon Johnson seems like a coinflip to play this year. This is not the to draft injured guys, the Bears couldn't get a look at him and we just take his word for it that he's going to be ready by camp?

The offense is putrid. They have three players who are NFL starting caliber, the two top wide receivers and the quarterback. The defense is not what it was two years ago when Mack was one arming offensive tackles to the ground and everyone was just terrorizing opponents, even with Foles (who I really do believe in) the rest of this team has regressed massively. And if Foles gets hurt all bets are off, they could really fall apart.

Also I dont think the weird head coach is going to keep his grip on the locker room if shit falls apart early.
