Been a Sox fan all my life and I'm still trying to figure out all this love for Harold Baines the Sox keep heaping on this guy over the years. I can think of a half dozen Sox players of the past who were not only more worthy of a jersey retirement and a statue but were more of personailty and or a fan favorite with the club. I just don't get the retiring of the jersey for Harold and now the statue. I think Frank Thomas is more deserving of such honors and seeing Harold had 1 division title and really won nothing as a White Sox I don't understand all the love.
