Jerome Holtzman, flipped me a cigar at DePaul one day when he was walking to his car after recognzing him.

This was one of the best writers of all time.

By the way, as recent as 1992 the guy was driving a 4 door Chevy Chevette and I am guessing he could afford more.

In case you missed it, he passed away today.
