Yep . Things I wished I would’ve done last week instead of waiting until yesterday to learn it doesn’t work for $1000, Alex

I have an "issue" that is "unique". My upper level is a few degrees warmer than the main level in the winter and cooler during the summer. I suspect creative ductwork is responsible.

What’s a good way to clean a dishwasher? Tried a Cascade cleaner thingie and tried white vinegar as the internet said and neither seem to work . I’ve been washing dishes by hand bc it’s kinda gross

Does it have a "sanitize" option? If not, bleach, soap, scrubbing brush and elbow grease.

It does not
Not opposed to elbow grease, but even without the racks in there it’s tough to get to some of the crevices
Maybe I’ll just buy a new one

To be fair , I’ve been here 16 years now and it came with the house so it’s at least that old, and it’s not like it’s anything fancy. I could certainly justify getting a new one to myself

Hey Darkside,
Cold air is coming out of the vents. AC working non stop. My house isn't getting cooler though. I opened up all the windows to increase air flow. Do I need to call a company to look?

Agreed. An at-least 16 year old dishwasher has had a hell of a run. We've been here 15 years and are on our 2nd.

Darko, got a guy in around Brookfield/western suburbs? Hopefully not, but might need a new A/C. Thanks in advance!

I would be significantly cheaper to buy a few window units and wait until the fall.

Everyone's price gouging during the summer. A few cheap window units will cost you about $400k. The price hike on a unit and installation will be significantly more than $400 during the summer. You can sell the window units and recoup at least half of your cost in the fall.

Go with the Commando 8. It provides 12000 btu’s of cooling power.

This is not true.
My company is currently giving customers our Trane yearly rebates instead of pocketing them.
