Matt Abbatacola...Again Matt is a guy who continues to improve as a host and likes to have fun with sports radio. I encourage all of you to give Matty a listen, I know you will enjoy his work!

Agreed. I do think he has a lot of potential, but there are currently too many guys on your station that try to emulate Bernstein's positions and overall demeanor to a fault. Bernstein is the only one who I enjoy listening to while acting like that because of his intelligence and quick humor. The other guys like Drinky and Lawrence Holmes need to come up with their own shtick.

You can put Goff in that group. I think Goff has taken more "The Caller is an Idiot" classes than Drinky. I think Matt is the best of the bench guys - including Holmes.

I can't accept Drinky and Goff taking that act. Drinky and Goff aren't better than anybody. Hell, they can't even talk smoothly.

Well not only that, most of the time ripping on your callers just isn't entertaining, no matter if the host is good at it or not. There are some gems once in a while but it hardy makes up for the tons of crap, at least for me.

It's safe to conclude that Mitch hates Drinky. The underlined verbiage is the corporatese for "you'll be stuck in this job forever, kid, growth? what growth?"

Thanks for the tidbit, Mr. Rosen. I wondered what the heck is going on with all that. Give us the whole dirt though. These cryptic messages only fuel speculation as to why you may not share warm and fuzzy feelings with Drinky.

I will agree that Matt is doing a good job hosting when he gets a chance. I try and give him a listen all the time and give him a shoutout. When he doesn't 'um and ah' he's very good

If Matt got the same air time they are giving Laurence, I think we would all hear that Drinky is far better then Laurence any day of the week.

We even have a slot lined up for Matty. Although, today was Larry and Hub, and that's just funny enough a final combo to chase me away for a loooong time.
