Bernstein brought this story up at about 10:30

She was talking about some racist jack ass that she ran into the other day at a Walgreens. You can google it. She posted a video.

The white guy took a watermelon out of his trunk and showed it to her. Then he made monkey sounds mocking her cuz she is black. They were in the drive through line. She needed medicine for her allergies. That's when this happened.

Anyway, Bernstein was apauled. Like anybody should be. He chastised the guy and showed sympathy for Brittney Payton. As we all should.

Ya know what? I don't see the difference between this guy and Dan Bernstein.

Dan was the guy that called a college basketball girl a wildebeest. Black girl. Probably a couple years older then his daughter is now when he made this comment. Why did he call her a wildebeest? Becuase she was a big and strong black girl. Let's mock the black girl and make her feel like she an animal. Cuz they don't look like me. That's what Bernstein was doing.

I don't think these strories are different. I think they're exactly the same.

What do you think?

Did she take a picture? Did she get his plates? Does Walgreen's have a security camera? I find it hard to believe that a guy in a Walgreen's drive thru would take out a watermelon from his trunk and use it to insult her. Doesn't pass the BS test.

I was skeptical of her story as well.

So this guy just happen to have a watermelon in his trunk? And why would he be mocking her with a watermelon. If this white guy bought a watermelon, it means he likes watermelon.

I've told this before.

I once saw Jarred Payton, Walter's son, at a strip club. He was sitting at the table next to mine with a hot blonde girl. Not a stripper, his date I guess.

Then my sister saw him at a little league baseball tournament last year. His son's team was playing my nephew's team. It was a 2 or 3 day tournament. My sister told me he wore the same clothes back to back days. She notices stuff like that.

I have watched her on that food show she did on WGN 9. She doesn't eat meat. So when she goes to a pizza place, she'll only eat the cheese pizza. She's no longer on that show.

My main point, which has gotten lost in this thread, is that Bernstein is just as horrible as the guy threatening Walter's daughter. And I hate that he's lecturing people about racism. When he's been that racist guy on the air. Calling that girl a wildebeest. That was mean and racist. Yet he pretends to say the correct things now. When he's always been the guy that black people should fear and hate.

I've never called into the SCORE to talk to a host about sports. I find it pointless and stupid.

But I wanted to call in today. To remind Bernstein of what he said about that black college girl. That it was the same thing as what Mrs. Payton said happened to her. But I didn't.

I was angry about it, though.

I don't like Bernstein doing what he's doing when he's been "The Racist" several times on the air. I just don't like it. It bothers me.

I always thought less of Larry and Goff for not calling Bernstein out for his racism. Christ, I did it on this board. Yet Goff hated me and not Bernstein. Go figure.

Not that they had to do it. But they sure as hell would do it with the callers. Or whenever there was a racist story in the news.

So why not Bernstein?

I'll answer my own question. They feared him. They admired him. And they wanted his approval. And I get that. I just would have thought there would have been a breaking point. There never was. Goff had no problem pointing out that Mike North was a racist. But North is stupid. Bernstein is smart. That might have been the difference. And it shouldn't be.

Another example, Larry never said anything to Terry when he would introduce him as "My favorite Mullato". He would just say "Hey Terry, how you doing? I love you. You're really, really great."

After north Goff then tried to do the same thing to McNeil.

But Bernstein and Boers were always the good guys in Goff's mind. Or just the guys he had to work with so keeping his job was a priority. I understand.

But they weren't the good guys, Jason. I kind of think you understand that now. I did try to tell you years ago, though.

Mike North, I understand Goff's attacks. He's a racist.

I never understood Goff's attacks on McNeil, however. I never got the racism vibe from Mac. And he also would let Goff co host with him a lot. I thought the Mac thing was just Jason being mean and a jack ass.
