What the fuck does Buehrle's start have to do with Clayton's? Clayton will suck or be good on his own. It wouldn't matter if Buehrle pitched a no hitter or gave up 12 runs. Has nothing to do with Clayton.
I think Clayton's in for a long night tomorrow. He may have "thrown strikes" in his Major League debut vs. Texas, but the Sox offense bailed him out for sure. In that piece of crap called the Metrodome, weird things happen and I don't care if you are the best damn pitcher in MLB, you can't give the Twins extra outs and expect to win!

Ok. Fine. Clayton might suck tommorrow. Just say that. Very possible. There is no "omen" based on what Buehrle did.

By the way, nothing "weird" happened in this metrodome today. Don't blame it on the dome. Twins hit a couple of 2-run homers. They would have been 2-run homers in any park.

Touche....I think one of them went into the football seats in center and the other must have gone over the baggy...

Don't I feel like the fucking ass hole.

I don't care. Slowey sucked today but our hitters sucked worse.

The Sox made Kevin Slowey look like Cy Young tonight through 8 innings.

No biggee- you come back to win two of the next three, that's a split on the road, and that's all you need at this point in the schedule.

Kevin Slowey just went wire-to-wire on a 6 hit shutout in a 7-0 Twins' win, and the Sox looked punchless in the 9th.

Just like Howry on the Northside, Konerko must go.

I think Goff was onto something today, when he said the reason Ozzie has kept Konerko at 1st, is because Swisher has been just as bad. Think he said in 28 at bat in the 2nd half, he has struck out 14 times. Mercy.

They are both in the lineup everyday though.....If they did move Swisher to 1B for a few games, they would give Wise and Anderson time in CF.

I really didn't understand what the fuck Goff was saying. One guy sucking doesn't excuse another guy sucking. I don't think Ozzie is thinking "well, I have to play Konerko cuz Swisher sucks." That makes no sense. Swisher would be the better 1st baseman anyway. Him going to 1st makes center field better defensivly.

You bench one of them. Konerko is worse than Swisher. Swisher at least was hot for a month. Konerko has never been hot this year.

To me, I think Guillen is being stubborn by continuing to play Konerko, and keeping him in the 6th spot in the batting order. I wonder if his wrist and oblique continue to hurt, and I wonder if Paulie needs another stint on the DL. As for tonight, Konerko will be in the lineup, but Swisher will sit in favor of Brian Anderson in center field. In a perfect world, both Swisher & Konerko would sit, and I'd actually consider putting Jim Thome at first base for 1 game and someone else DH.

We all know AJ would've. Was Doug Eddings behind the plate last night?

So far, I'm eating a little humble pie. I didn't think Clayton Richard would pitch all that well in that glorified pool room, but the White Sox offense has shown up...so far. Unfortunately, Paul Konerko continues to struggle at the plate, and on the White Sox Radio pregame tonight, Sun-Times writer Joe Cowley hinted to host Chris Rongey that Paulie might soon be benched for a week...Stay tuned, Sox fans.

He should have been benched a week ago. And he should be hitting 9th right now. He is an auto-fucking-matic out right now.

The Hump is a dump no doubt about it. One of my least favorite stadiums, and it originates with the fucking Viking horn. 3 teams in 1 venue these days = cheap-ass city. Good thing they are building, but not before the RNC comes to town forcing the 16 game trip for the Twinkies...suckers!

Frank, I couldn't agree with you more about Konerko. He made another bad throw in the 4th inning when Nick Punto appeared caught in a rundown, and should've been out at second. Konerko is really pressing, and looks out of sync both at the plate & in the field!

Here we go again, folks! The Twins have done it again, and have scored 5 in the 5th inning to send Clayton Richard to the showers! Damn Metrodome!

They should plunk Morneau. That guy eats Sox pitching for breakfast.

The other Sox pitchers should pitch inside to Morneau the rest of this series. He's been a pain in the ass in these first 2 games!

was kinda with hawk on that first pitch called a ball...thought it was a strike as well.

but the pitch that morneau hit was pretty inevitable.

That was ugly. I'm not pissed at Clayton. We're suppose to out score them with this kid on the mound. Shit, he kept us in the game. Let's win it.

When Morneau hit that one over Dye's head to score the last 2 runs of the Twins' 5 run 5th, the damage was done. DAMN METRODOME!!! No lead in that piece of monkey crap is safe!

Orlando Cabrera just started the top 7th with a single, but why is Nick Swisher pinch hitting for Brian Anderson? Is it simply because Jesse Crain has relieved tonight's Minnesota starter Glen Perkins?

If the Sox don't score before the 9th, Nathan is going to shut the door. Not a good start to this series.
