(heavy mouth breathing) hey Julie..... (more breathing) I really like your show. (mouth breathing) you're really nice to your callers...

Hey here's a thought. Why not try Julie in the 10 - 12 slot.

Julie was fantastic on the sunday morning baseball show. She was better than what either station currently presents for consumption.

I have a feeling she was going through some existential crises. There is no other explanation for blowing the clown shoe wearing manager of the Sox.

Well, first it was out, then it was in, then it was out, then it was in again, then she said it was in, then I said it was out, then she said it was out, then I said it was in, and...

This Nov. 02 article was posted on various versions of this board a number of times. Yeah, those mammary lanes can be rough.

I actually worked with Julie. She became a pastry chef and is currently the pastry chef at North Shore Country Club in Glenview.

I don't think she'll go back to the score anytime soon.

I tend to agree. Julie put the "SCORE" and Chicago radio in the rearview mirror years ago...

I think Julie Swieca got really upset when her "SCORE" bosses supposedly wanted her to devote to a specific topic for her whole show. I remember she was fired up when ABC Sports hired Lisa Guerrero to work the sidelines on the network's second to last season of "Monday Night Football". Lisa lasted only one season on "MNF", and Julie had issues with her journalistic credentials. Julie also thought that ABC hired Ms. Guerrero for nothing more than eye candy. I think that was an example of why her latenight show didn't last, and she actually quit WSCR shortly thereafter.

She was never fired. She quit.

I believe the Score bosses wanted her to depart from the script she had in mind for one of the shows and announce/comment/take calls on Maddox' return to the Cubs, a story that broke while she was on the air. She refused and that was the beginning of her end at the station. I imagine her Sox alleginace may have had a role in her sudden stubbornness on the matter.

Yes, because the day prior was a Kerry Wood: throw onto trashheap? day... I agree that a single-topic show for 2 days in a row, both Cub-related was a little much...

I worked with her briefly too and I've never met anyone more professional and friendly at the same time. She knew her stuff.

Hey, a Matt Fishman (original Eaglo, dubbed by Danny Mac) mention. I think Julie is doing some show somewhere along with the pastry chef job.

Ok. Something really took place with her and Bevington? Really? I always thought that was a myth that several people have hinted at. "The Red Shoe" stuff Boers and Mac mention? What does that mean? I thought it was just her giving him a massage after a game. Rubbing Bev's shoulders or something.

I thought Julie was a smart girl. She was a good reporter. Decent host. She really was involved with that dumb ass Bevington? Wow.

Only problem with Julie: she liked to play the Female Card like Holmes plays the Race Card.
