That isn't why people here are upset though. They are mad with the "woke" NBA for failing to denounce the Chinese Government. When Morey had actual skin in the game he didn't denounce them either.

People here are bashing people that didn't say anything because they didn't say anything.

"LeBron didn't say anything about China!"

Yes he did.

"Nobody is mad at LeBron for saying what he said about China!"

Gotta love it. And yes, LTG, people are/were mad at LeBron for the tacit support he gave the Chinese government by calling Morey's comments "misinformed" and "uneducated", which implies that more information and education about the issue about which Morey was speaking would have lead to him not making those comments.

You're bashing the entire NBA for remaining silent on the issue. It isn't just Lebron.

If this were just about Lebron then your point would be valid.

It isn't because you repeatedly bash the entire league for remaining silent.

Correct. There is passion on one hand and indifference on the other. But it's the same subject. Social injustice. Seems to me you want the black guys to get a pass. No siree. Those black guys are 1 percenters. That was made clear to me. That doesn't mean what they say is hollow, but it does make one wonder.

No. It's very similar to the way Anti Semitism and racism are viewed by certain people on this board. MANY that are quick to label something Anti Semitic will lose their left arm before they will ever consider something racist.

They feel no special obligation to see things the same way even though they about acts of discrimination and this board is quite fine with that.

As stated before I have never viewed the NBA as a progressive league. Relative to other sports perhaps yes but still not particularly progressive in the grand scheme of things. People here are only outraged because they don't feel that they should be allowed to speak out on anything.

Remember this is the place that argues incessantly that blacks shouldn't bitch about anything because the people in Bangladesh have it much worse. Criticism of the NBA is very much in line with such thinking.

The NBA also characterized Morey's Hong Kong tweet as offensive in a statement immediately after Morey's tweet gained traction.

Can you cite the specific quote which says this?

Ah the old rhetorical sleight of hand maneuver. At first you attempted to make it appear as if the NBA found the comments offensive.

They did. The NBA said it recognized that Morey's words supporting Hong Kong "offended" China. That means that they recognized that Morey's support of Hong Kong was offensive to China. That is how words work.

Don't try and redefine it to fit your false narrative. The NBA clearly stated that it was China that was offended.

No it doesn't and you need to read an English book. The quote clearly stated that his words "OFFENDED CHINA". Not that they were "OFFENSIVE TO CHINA" You do not quite understand how to properly quote people. Those two phrases mean completely different things. For some reason you do not quite understand this.

You are purposely misquoting him to fit a false narrative.

Recognizing that words offended China is to recognize that the words were offensive to China. This is a simple fact of how words and logic work.

No it doesn't and you don't have a clue as to how logic actually works. You're a wannabe internet lawyer and there is clearly a reason for it.

They acknowledged that China was offended by his comments. That is completely different than acknowledging that his comments were offensive to China. You completely fabricated this in order to promote a false narrative.

Whatever the intention was, the Chinese didn't buy Silver's "sorry you were offended" non-apology apology. They still shit-canned a bunch of deals, took the games off Chinese TV and asked for Morey's head on a pike. Silver eventually cowboy'd up and told em to pound sand.

IT is truly amazing how LTG tries to weasel out of his lies. IT is even beyond wordsmithing. It is ridiculous.

As usual you have no point to make. Same old gibberish from a rather demented buffoon.

I guarantee you that you do not even know what the actual discussion pertains to do you Hawk?

It really comes as no surprise that you believe that they mean the same thing. That is about as predictable as Trump tweeting about fake news. So old. So drug induced. So bigoted. So stupid.

I wonder why a lot of black leaders and blacks themselves are anti-Semitic? is it because Truman carved out a home for Jews after WWII and he didn't create a separate country for blacks? Now we see blacks increasingly attacking Jewish people more and more. Why? Some blacks are calling themselves the Chosen People not the Jews. We had the bigoted LTG assailing Jews as being in control of the world banking industry. I must say that although nothing really surprises me on the bigotry of LTG, this did surprise me. I've certainly heard the bigotry of black leaders before in Freekakhan and Sharpton among others but this was out of the norm with the bigot LTG who had been pretty much limited to his lame all whites are racist doctrine up to this point.

The USA stands for nothing anymore. If you expect us to intervene because of this you're crazy.

Its up to the Indians, Japanese and Australians. The time has come for the rest of the world to move on from the dying empire and leave the shithole to rot.

Jesus fucking Christ. UFB. NBa/nIKE are Nazis. Don' watch that basketball shit. it's also fucking booooooooring.

Fuck, I thought I'd never see such a thing in my lifetime. Nazis straight up. Where is the World on this? Where are the MUslims yammering about this? Fucking losers. Racists. Uighurs are trash Muslims I guess.

Kick out all Chinee students in USA now.

This does need to be given out to the American public. China is the biggest culprit in the world and especially the US in all things. The virus was deliberately sent out by China in order to hurt the other countries in the world and tried to use it in order to improve its depleting world influence and it almost worked. Well, Trump got in the way and now the majority of the world knows the evil of China. The only people that support the Chinese commies are the Dems and especially Biden. They are supporters of China and communism in general.

I must say that nothing really surprises me on the bigotry of LTG, this did surprise me. I've certainly heard the bigotry of black leaders before in Freekakhan and Sharpton among others but this was out of the norm with the bigot LTG who had been pretty much limited to his lame all whites are racist doctrine up to this point.

You can't even put a complete sentence together.

Bullshit. This country is leading the world. The Dems are a dying result of European failures in Socialism/Communism. When Trump wins, he will kick out the vestiges of corruption that existed under decades of both Dem and Rep administrations. Who BTW is "us" as in "us to intervene"?

Smegma is as smegma does. Along with his compatriot.
