Came across a box of old family pics and found an obit for my mothers father. He died when my mother was 3 yrs old so I never knew anything about him. Found out from his obit that he was a big basketball player and was on the 1929 Indiana high school state champions. Love finding stuff like that.

My son’s high school baseball team had “Senior Day” today, where the team got together for a short ceremony and intrasquad game. The joy on their faces was wonderful...a small but memorable consolation for having their final season taken from them.

So, Dad is having the valve replacement surgery at 1:30 today. I believe they are inserting a mechanical valve. The Dr.'s are fairly confident this will solve his issues. He does not need to be cracked open for this.

If this does it, he could be home in less than a week!

i bought some cherries and cherry yoplait yogurt.

I cut the cherries in half , removed the pit, and put about 6 halves into the yoplait yogurt.

it was delicious. my cherries were much better than the cherries that came w/ the yogurt but the cherry flavored yogurt itself w/ the freshly cut up cherries really did the trick.

try it out sometime fellas.
