Yeah, I would think the Marlins would just have to forfeit if they don't want to field a team. There isn't enough room on the schedule to just cancel games and try to have them made up.

This is why I'm enjoying the games as they happen, but giving no thought to future/playoffs. Cubs or Sox could go 40-10 through their first 50 games, have an outbreak that hits the starting lineup and playoffs are done.
