You know lately I've been eating the generic brand of wax beans. I rip off the label, I can hardly tell the difference.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of really fat players have medical issues.

This really isn't complicated Vick. Make whatever decision is best for you and your family, just don't try to mandate that decision on the rest of us.

By the nature of playing NFL football, you most likely will be in a wheelchair by 65, but hilarious to see NFL players run from a virus when they are more likely to die in a car accident than COVID.

Rub some dirt on it (your heart)

https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/red- ... infection/

Quote:
Earlier this week, the Boston Red Sox shut down left-handed pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez's throwing program after discovering health complications stemming from his bout with COVID-19. On Sunday, Rodriguez confirmed a report from WEEI's Rob Bradford that his "complication" is myocarditis, or "an inflammation of the heart muscle," per the Mayo Clinic.

...

Rodriguez's story is a reminder that the calculus for playing sports during the global pandemic is not simple. Rather, there is a spectrum of largely unknown side effects -- such is the nature of a novel virus -- that could have long-term ramifications, especially for professional athletes whose livelihood depends on them performing at their physical peak.

Imagine thinking that the outcome of a Covid-19 infection is literally this binary where one of literally 2 things can occur: 1. Death 2. Getting better. I mean, have you not read about anything other than these two outcomes in the months of discoveries made scientifically about this new disease or are you just one of those ****ing IGNORAMUSES that thinks it's Republican (tough out the virus) vs. Democrat (try not to let people get murdered by it) ???

People are literally getting other people killed or maimed by this type of perspective vis a vis the virus I mean, did you not inform yourselve by now that people can have PERMANENT heart or lung damage, something that a D-Lineman needs to avoid to be able to produce at a high level in the NFL? Did you not read about PERMANENT COGNITIVE DAMAGE or do you have a pre-existing cognitive damage condition precluding you from being aware of the cognitive damage you can incur by getting Covid-19?

Seriously, READ A SCIENCE BLOG INSTEAD OF GETTING A VIRUS DEGREE FROM FACEBOOK.

Gosh.

For fucks sake why didn't your mom visit Planned Parenhood?

Has nothing to do with guts.

Eddie has collected more than $17M in the last two years. It's a business decision he is free to make.

He's definitely free to make his own choices, but football careers are short. That's a big chunk of money to just forfeit and never have a chance of reclaiming. Look at all the former ex-players that go broke after calling it a career. I'd be out on the field if every player on the opposing team had ebola.

From what I heard on ESPN ... Goldman will be paid 375k this year and is guaranteed to make his 2020 salary next season.

So to all of the complete and udder IGNORAMUSES that think that only weak people or people with cancer or old af people can be impacted by COVID-19, are you going to say anything about Eddie Goldman making this difficult decision? Would you literally say that to his face?

I bet there are some fake tough-guys on here that think they would say something to him but I bet if it came down to it they would *** out and opt out of saying anything.

Do you always post feedback before someone actually comments on the subject?

You're very defensive and shallow. Are you a millennial?

I have no problem with Eddie Goldman opting out. Sorry if that doesn't fit your "Alt-White KKK" message board theory.

Fascinating.

I was merely playing the straight man here. badrogue knows what I'm talking about.

When it comes to the CFMB, no one plays the straight man better than Furious.

You are forgetting the most likely candidate, Bilal Nichols. This should be a coming out year for him anyway

3 pm deadline today for opting out of this season. Biggs thinks he might retire.

I said last year it was unlikely he would ever play for the Bears again.

I would be shocked if he opted out. There are vaccines available and as far as I know he's not a member of Karl Anthony-Towns family.

That doesn't apply to Goldman. There are pics of him working out recently.

I still hope I'm wrong and he plays again, but it doesn't look good.
