Says he is tired of losing and seems to be implying that he wants to be traded.

He's just a guy. And that's what you'd get back for him

Only guy on the team that consistently laces them up. On a:team with oft injured young players there has got to be something said for that.

At this point the Bulls should take any kind of poo-poo platter of expiring contracts that they can get for LaVine.

No they shouldn't. One of the best bargains in the league.

He's definitely a lottery ticket for any team that takes him.

Not a franchise guy but he isn't exactly being paid to be one either.

You don't get participation trophies when you make $20 million a year.

Sam "The Man" Smith has him 3rd team All NBA. The Bulls troubles are much more a result of the failings of other players (Namely Lauri, Otto and Wendell) than they are Lavine.

Not to mention the dumbest NBA:coach I have ever seen.

And $20 mil a year is a drop in the bucket for a player of his caliber. For example noted thief Draymond Green is scheduled to make $30 per starting this season

I'd love to see a trio of Lavine, Jamal Murray, and Nikola Jokic in Denver.

The communication would be easy for Arturas.

I was wrong about his contract. It is actually a good deal for the Bulls. That being said his next contract will be a team killer. Lavine will never be a top 2 player on a championship level team. Hopefully they can get something useful for him.

The Knicks were interested before they hired Tom.

Maybe they still are.

Get them to overpay.

I like him a lot. 20M is the going rate for a player like him. Plenty of worse players getting 20M. I don't see him as an alpha but can see him grow into the second best player on a championship team.

I feel like that was the ceiling of Jimmy Butler. I dont think Lavine will ever be as good all around as Jimmy.

LaVine can shoot. Jimmy can't.

Yes Lavine won't match butler's acumen on D but he's fathoms better on offense. I also think he's got a good mindset professionally. Let's see. The more Boylen stays employed the less I think of the regime, which means they'll retain Boylen and trade Lavine for Carmelo Anthony.

Agreed. Butler is better all around but as an offensive player Lavine is light years ahead of Jimmy Butler.

Perfect time to trade with 2 years left.

Not a big commitment for another team, but good enough player to take a risk on if they can afford it.

A trade to NOP for future picks could be ok, as they have space on their roster, but only Redick and Miles to trade with really...guh.

No one wants to play for this loser franchise. We deserve a second team in this city.

1 team sucks so we need a 2nd one?

Strange Logic. Did not really help the knicks!

Not really sure what adding another team will do apart from cause some to jump ship.

Think Bulls will get an aging star like Lebron, but one from Chi town (like AD post LA?) and turn this place around!

Why not let this team develop under a new coach especially with the upcoming season?

I like what they are building, but they are lacking a superstar.

They could land one with #4 (unlikely) and/or in free agency in the next off-season.

They may need to make a decision on Markkanen/Carter eventually. They may need to determine if Coby White can play with LaVine.

They still are lacking in athletes, and shooting, a SF/PG.

They have pieces, but it needs organizing.

I'd use the draft to continue adding, clear out room with porter after next season and go from there.

Draft the best player, regardless of position, get a real coach in here and this team could actually be decent to good if everything were to come together.

Worst thing they can do is max this guy once his contract ends. Guys like Zach Lavine lead you to a 7 seed in a best case scenario.
